Answer:	No, the outside of the pot is not magnetic. This is a very good airpot, and keeps coffee hot for many hours.

Answer:	You can definitely brew coffee at home and transport it in the VonShef Airpot. If you fill the Airpot with boiling water and let it sit while you brew the coffee, empty the water from the Airpot and put your freshly brewed coffee into the Airpot, it should stay hot for at least 12 hours. I've done this with an evening activity and found that my coffee was still warm 14 hours later (the next morning). There is a 'close' setting on the dispenser top, and if you set that to 'close' and keep your Airpot vertical during transport, there is no problem transporting your coffee to your destination.

Answer:	Where does it say not to use milk products? I just purchased and used this at a cocoa party and the homemade hot cocoa (with real milk and cream) stayed fresh, hot and delicious for 5 or more hours. Clean up is easy because the lid comes off and the pump can be thoroughly rinsed out. I would have no hesitation using this for any hot or cold beverage - with or without milk. Obviously, you would not want to "store" milk products in it for any extended period of time - it is not a refrigerator!

Answer:	This machine worked fine for the first few months made plenty of ice then it started to freeze up and we have tried repeatedly to get something done by the company bonnio who shipped it to us and were told that it had a warranty but have not been satisfied; only wanted to get it replaced!! Question:	What other parts exactly do I need to make this functional
Answer:	Yes-from manufacturer. I could not keep my machine going even with replacement parts. It is a nice machine and makes soft ice fast but marginal in reliability.
Question:	What are the dimensions (height, length and width
Answer:	There is a ice level control. The ice is made when ice level drops. Ice will melt and the water goes back into the tank. The ice is not super hard as in a refrigerator. It makes ice very fast and will keep up with most normal demand. You will have to add water every other day or so depending on how much you use. The water container holds about a gallon.
Question:	Does this plug into a regular outlet
Answer:	Mine is still working just fine, with light to medium use throughout the week. When the ice maker starts it makes a soft motor sound, which is caused by its pump, and once the ice tray is filled this noise stops. Sometimes, you can also hear a louder sound, made by a cooling fan. This unit is not the most silent on the planet but mine still works. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, but Sonic does sell 10lb bags of "hospital style" ice for about $2.00 a bag! That's my go to until I can find an affordable hospital style ice maker :)

Answer:	Unfortunately, I let 1 of my employees order this for our kitchen sonI have no clue where you can order a trim kit. We order a lot of par tee s & whatnot from Grainger & Johnstone Supply. Hopefully that will help.
Question:	Can the be installed with cabinets on either side and against a wall with a counter top over it in a built-in style
Answer:	The ID-0452A is 30" Wide. I think the B-500PF is the same size, so it should fit. Most current 30" ice machines and bins are interchangeable, regardless of the brand, but you may possibly need a trim kit, depending on how old the bin is. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does the drain pump the water out, or is it a gravity drain
Answer:	I would follow the specs on this, the recessed niche idea I imagine you are looking to do, should work provided that the proper ventilation and drainage are adhered to.

Answer:	Yes, it requires both a water line and a drain.

Enjoying Your New Commercial Ice Machine

• Plug in the Ice Machine and the ON/OFF symbol will flash in the display window.
• Press the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel. The Ice Machine will start to make ice cubes when the water reaches the standard level on the water tank through the electromagnetic water valve. The symbol will change to a solid light and the Ice cube symbol will start rotating.

Adjusting Ice Thickness

• To adjust the ice thickness, press the “+” or “-” button on the control panel.
• The number at the bottom left of the display shows the time setting of the ice making with the default “0”.
• Press the “+” button once to add one minute at a time, and the ice cubes will be thicker. Press the “-” button once to reduce one minute at a time, and the ice cubes will be thinner.

NOTE: The adjustment only affects the next and subsequent ice making cycles.
