I have two units (a large 2-acre model, and a smaller half-acre model) running 24/7 from March-November for the past 4 years, and we are nearly bug-free on our deck and around our main yard (about 2 acres). They are located on opposing corners of the house, where they are away from the decks, sidewalks, etc. They work the same way, but are industrial use... light attracts the insects, they get sucked-in, and can't escape... eventually dying of dehydration. I've caught everything from mosquitoes, moths, biting flies, etc. Bees are not attracted to it, normally, but I have captured a carpenter bee, once. These small units are okay for indoor use, or for screened porches.

Answer:	Well, you are conned. Toloco is falsifying their warranty and tricks people to leave good review for free gift. If you are one of those people who left good review, supposedly they are supposed to give you 2 years warranty. They are based out of china so I am not sure how true that is but try your luck and email them and they will respond to you over night. And you have to realize each communication takes 2 days since you are in different time zone. They will also ignore your email at times. So good luck. How I know this? I went through this BS with this dishonest seller. So, I tried Katchy brand. They are from China too but their customer service is very responsive

My cat ate through mine - the company replied to my comment saying to get a 5mm cable - however the cable we got apparently isn't enough wattage and basically killed the two seperate functions. Answer:	I used one of the replacement glue pads as a template on basic yellow sticky traps. Two discs can be cut from one sheet, and has the advantage of being double sided. Seemed to work just as well. MUCH less expensive and more readily available than the Katchy glue boards. Please understand that my problem was with fungus gnats. If you problem is with some other type of insect, your milage may vary.

Answer:	I can't imagine it wouldn't stick to finished wood. You may want to try in a spot that doesn't show as a test. 4 oz bottle is a lot of super glue.

Answer:	You can definitely apply these to your kiddie pool. You can take it out when the children are in the water if you do not want them handling it. Simply drop it back in when your kids are done playing. We do this at my home with our sons water table.

Answer:	I drop one of these into the water that I collect through my rain barrels. Once my rain barrels/containers that are connected to my downspouts fill up, I transfer the water to trash barrels that I then use to water my outside hanging plants and flower beds to allow my rain barrels to continue to collect more water. Because these barrels are not air tight, mosquitoes can find their way in. This prevents mosquitoes from breeding in the standing water.

Answer:	I think they're designed to solve the problem of mosquitoes breeding in standing water. If you don't have standing water, you don't have the problem these were designed to solve. Some mention putting out buckets of water etc. I believe that's just creating a problem so you can solve it. It's not like this stuff attracts mosquitoes, causing them to nosedive into the water and die. :) Maybe Permithrin would help? If you get the 36.8% concentrate, it's pretty economical and seems to help. I'm in Florida though so no matter how much I spray, they just keeping moving/blowing in. And the rain washes it away. So in the rainy season it's an ongoing battle. As are the fire ants.
Question:	I need a small amount of product for fungus gnats. Can I mix a batch with one dunk and store it to spray onto the surface of my garden as needed
Answer:	Hi I just saw your question, and i have a way these work for my plants. I use gallon milk jugs and put 1/4 of a mosquito dunk in each. For a small sprayer you'd only needed a small piece, but just spraying your plants or the top of the soil won't kill the larvae. You'll need to water each plant with the treated water to effectively eradicate the gnats. I've found that the small piece that I use lasts for a month, and i just write the date on a piece of masking tape attached it to the jug. I'm not 100% sure, but with these being made up of live bacteria, I don't cap the jugs. Idk if they require air, but I don't want to mistakenly kill those. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I would screen your chimney. But yes it will kill them the unit would have to be close to the opening. Note this makes a loud pop when a bug gets in the gris. NOTE: Bugs fly in front of the grid but does not get in it. I took a piece of furnace duct metal, cut a square init with a 1" flange sticking out the back , mounted a small bathroom exhaust fan to it. Bugs should not be active inside a refrigerator, as it operates at a temperature that would make most insects hibernate. Your refrigerator should operate at a temperature of 33°f-42°f.
