That said, we have multiple show rex rabbits and use these cages because the gauge of the wire on the floor, and that fact that it is coated makes it very easy on their feet. Rex are prone to sore hocks, and we have never once had a rabbit develop sore hocks in one of these cages. Actually, I had one buck outside in a pen on the grass and he developed sore hocks out there because the soil here is hard pan clay. They actually healed after I put him back in one of these cages and now he is much better.

Answer:	Depending on how small the ferret is. If its a average size ferret then yes it should work. I have had babies rabbits in it and not have a problem, so a ferret should do fine.

Answer:	Even if your bunny can stretch out it will not be "comfortable." The wire floor will be rough on it's feet and it won't have room to hop around significantly. Considering getting an exercise pen (30 or 36 inches should be plenty) in place of a cage. This will also make it easier to litter box train your rabbit (I use a large cat litter box, line it with newspaper and put hay on top of it). And still be sure to let your bunny out for exercise!

Question:	What size is the hole
Answer:	No. I purchased this for our gliders and learned something new about sugar gliders. They LOVE to untie knots! I guess it is well known, but it was news to us. The first night they had one side of the bride completely untied, had it hanging, and had pulled off several strands of the hemp. It would pose a choking hazard if they had tried to eat them. One the fun side though, we now toss in a knot filled glider safe 1/2" rope that they have a ball working out the knots every night.
Question:	How do you clean it up
Answer:	Sure. It'll be kind of small for a dove, but they can use it. Similar to a chicken, I wouldn't use it as one of the primary perches because the wood pieces are far too small for dove feet. Hope that helps.
Question:	Is this safe for small birds? My parakeets like to rest inside huts
