Answer:	Hi. Yes. We have found it to stop spills and “accidents” from leaking through. Sort of beads up on surface, does not penetrate through. - do not know how long would take fluid to “seep through” but so far 6-12 hours seems to work ok. It is really like a lighter, waterproof version of a standard moving blanket, with no slip material on one side. Hope this is helpful.

How to training puppies to use?

Answer:	Exactly the color shown in the photo. A charcoal gray. This is the best purchase I ever made. I have 6 dogs. I put one right in front of the doggy door to keep my dogs from tracking in early morning dew, and muddy and wet feet on rain days. The other in the doggy pad is further in my doggy room, (my garage converted into a living area where this is the only room in the house where my dogs are allow. On rain days when I usually have to push my yorkies threw the doggy door to go out side and pee, now they have two big pads to use the bathroom on. These doggy pads are a ten star. Answer:	I pick up the mat and do a spot wash in the bathroom sink. I use a spray bottle of diluted Tide with small brush to work up the suds, then I rinse. I machine wash about once a week. You can put it right back on the floor to dry because the back side is not wet. These mats dry super fast. Also they don't look like pee pads, more like a mat for the dog to lie on. Lastly, if this size it too big, you can cut them and even after many washes, the layers don't separate and edges stay smooth.

Answer:	In my opinion, it's more like straw. I have straw bedding in cage for my bunnies and they will not eat it, but the will devour Timothy hay, oat hay and orchard grass. They will shred these mats to pieces but will not eat it.

Answer:	The bunnies I bought them for are crated & enjoyed chewing them up as quick as they could. Not sure it would stop other chewing behavior.

Answer:	I feel it would do a good job of protecting their feet if secured. Though, I do not believe it can be washed so would probably need to be replaced when soiled. In addition my bunnies chewed theirs up (which I expected) so not sure how long it would last if the chinchillas chew.

Answer:	I don't remember what I paid but usually the prices are for 1. It is well worth the price as the brown side absorbs water so whether animal or human is on it--it has a dry place. I used the bugger size in my whelping box and puppies excrement/water was absorbed making the left over poo easy to pick up prior to washing the pad.

Answer:	It's a think potty pad for dogs it's not memory foam it's plasticish on one side so the pee doesn't go threw and then a thick absorbent material.

Answer:	I have never tried fake grass so I can't tell you that these pads are better. I can tell you that my dogs go on these pads and NOT the carpet. They are thick enough that the urine does not go through the pad. Ii'm very pleased with them.

Answer:	I use one of those tall plastic things used to store xmas wrapping paper in as it has a tight fitting lid. Also when I wash them I add about 3 little scoops of generic oxyclean to tub of washer and they always come out smelling great even after several years of use. I also put in dryer and have had no problems.
