Question:	Can you buy a replacement liner? My guinea pigs have eaten part of it
Answer:	NO! The HSUS recommends 10.5 square feet for 2 guinea pigs. This cage is not that large & is only suitable for 1 pig, not 2, but of course guinea pigs should be kept in at least pairs as they are social animals. If you want 2 pigs you are better off to get 2 of these and connect them or build a C&C cage. C&Cs are not that expensive if you build them yourself (as opposed to the kits). You really need something larger for 2 or more piggies. The people keeping more than 2 pigs in just one of these are really cramping them up unfairly.
Question:	how do you change the bedding in the cage
Answer:	I use this for my Hedgehog and he loves it! I folded the roof so that only the very farthest edge has a piece on it, enough to hold a heat lamp, and I also have a heating pad under one side of the cage (where the heat lamp is) so he has a nice warm place to sleep! My hedgehog is old, and completely blind (no eyes) so he doesn't try to escape at all! I also took out the divider so that he has an easier time going around the cage. It is also super easy to clean, I pick up the fleece and wipe the bottom.
Question:	Is this cage big enough for 2 fully grown adult guinea pigs
Answer:	I use it for my two rats and they love it. However, I would only recommend it if you have large bred fancy rats rather than medium or small. When my large rats were still growing, they were almost able to get through the bars of the cage. I would imagine that young medium or small rats would be able to get through quite easily. Other than that, it’s a great cage for rats. They love the amount of space and room to climb.

Question:	Our rabbit is litter box trained - is this cage big enough to accomodate a corner litter box
Answer:	Hello Don, The rings on the end of the Super Pet FerretTrail Flex can be used as connectors. You can screw the tube you are connecting with into the ring on the first tube. One thing I do is I took the Ferret Ball Pit and connected tubes to each end. I disconnected the ring and put the end of the tube through the hole in the ball pit, then reconnected the ring. This kept the tube from pulling out of the end of the pit. They love it, they can go in the tube and come out in the ball pit, then go through the other tube and out the other end. Question:	is it easy to clean
Answer:	You would need a way to suspend or attach these in the tank. There are connector rings to snap the tubes to themselves included, but nothing to attach the tubes to a glass tank. So if you wanted these tubes to lay on the floor (like toilet paper or paper towel tubes), then yes they can lay flat. I believe what you really are looking for is called a "tank topper", which is a complete kit to attach to the top of a glass aquarium to make it more interesting as a hamster habitat. Look into those.
Question:	Would it work for a pair of rats
Answer:	It'll connect to anything kaytee but they are just straight tubes that are pretty useless unless you have like two hamster cages to connect or a lot of other hamster accessories, other wise someone like me with only the one cage they were completely useless as there aren't even curved tubes to connect back to the same cage. Just some long and straight ones.

Question:	I see pictures with litter boxes in the enclosure. Is it a pain to clean the scattered kitty litter? Need space to keep cat during the night
Answer:	We are using Okocat super soft litter which is ground up pine pellets (like course sawdust) and they are super messy and yes, the litter gets everywhere because kitty is a vigorous digger and goes bonkers sometimes racing in & out of the cage. We keep a small broom handy, and several times a week set the litter pans up on the shelves & and sweep it up. Alternatively, as others have mentioned, you can slide the bottom tray out. The room where we have this is small and that's not easy for us, so the broom method works. We can't wait until kitty is old enough to switch to pellet litter (right now he eats the pellets). We have considered getting him a top entry letterbox which I've seen others do in photos they've posted of this enclosure. Until this cat, we had never kept a kitty enclosed and I have to say I love being able to do this. While we sleep, I know he's safe during his kitten phase. Or if we are going out for a few hours. We've had him in it since he was about 8 weeks old so it's 'home' for him and doesn't stress him.
Question:	Big enough for 2 elderly cats
Answer:	I have put an extra hammock on the top to one side, a covered litterbox on the floor, and a cube to lay in and on on top of on the litter box to one side of the bottom, and the shelves on the opposite side of the cube going up the side to the top. Screw on lift out bowels work so much better then the hook on metal bowls that kept falling off until I clamped down the hooks to make it tighter. Two larger water bowels and 4 smaller food bowels (metal liftouts) This system has been used to provide housing for 4 females and one smaller male. Everyone gets along fine, and they can move around. This keeps everone safe in the house while I am away and my dog can still see and smell all of his kitties and be comfortable withh them together. He lays at the floor by them while I am away, and as soon as I open it up he checks them as they come out. I did receive the playpen with a broken off, missing top lock. But I use carabiners on both doors to reasure they stay closed. Typically there is at least two of the girls in it laying around during normal open door hours. The 3 shelves really don't sem like enough for just 2 of the girls to get from top to bottom without causing them to tip out of the metal holders. The playpen works well, and with a modification or two (it's not on the wheels) this system is something that I have gotten complaints on, as well as a request to obtain one for an owner of 2 cats that need someplace to be during the time my coworker is away from their home as well. However, it does take 2 humans to actually put this unit together. One needs to lift and hold the top ( from the front side) while the other can (I did this from the inside) pull up and secure the back. Then it becomes more of a 1 human job from there as you secure the front and hook on the shelves. I hope this is a helpful bit of info. If you are needing to put this together yourself, I would suggest trying to pull open the top and then lay it down on the floor in order to pull open the back. I am only 5' so it seemed much easier with its weight for me to have assistance holding it up because it kept folding on me and I couldnt secure the back because of this.

Answer:	I have used this before exactly this purpose. It worked great. It was her safe place when I couldn't watch her. She is now completely retrained and fine. If you move the bottom shelf, there is PLENTY of room for a cat and a box.

Question:	how tall is the cage only
Answer:	Yes!!! As a former breeder of rats, this cage would be perfect for them!! The space is great and there's no possible way for them to bite thru the steel bars.
Question:	So the large trays are solid? There are no wire floor above it? I'm asking because the cage we have now has a wire floor with a pull-out tray beneath
Answer:	Yes, but you wouldn't be able to have the floor in between them because you'd have to remove the top of the double nation and the bottom of the single nation to join them. That's how I have mine setup. You basically have one giant open cage on top with just the shelves, and a regular cage in the bottom which can be opened to the top one or not. If you do this, I recommend getting another shelf for the upper cage. It's probably simpler and cheaper to just get the add on version if all you want is a triple level cage. I had a single one I found on craigslist, so it was cheaper for me to do it my way.
Question:	can this be used for grown fancy rats
Answer:	I currently have a great used one with all pieces included, plus bonus add on pieces that I am including for sale if you're interested. If not, good luck.
Question:	can you take the single unit and add it on to the double unit
Answer:	This is way too small for ALL HAMSTERS no exemptions .th minimum of cage requirements are 459 sq inches having too small of a cage will lead to stress and can and most likely will lead to wet tail an that will most likely kill them. Answer:	My ladder did not fall down. If it gets bumped I guess would fall down. You could probably get pliers and tighten the legs around the wire shelves. Or perhaps get twist ties (or similar item) to secure the ladders to the wire shelves so they do not move.
