Question:	Is this ok to give to a hamster? I bought it by mistake, but I'd rather use it than send it back
Answer:	There is no expiration date on the bag, but the product page says to reseal the bag tightly once open and to use the product within 30-45 days. For my two rats, I use this in addition to a kibble-type food so a 4.5lb bag lasts longer than 45 days (bought one on Sept 7 and still have a fair bit left as of this posting) but my little guys don't seem to mind and the peanuts' shells are still crisp and there is no mealiness to the seeds! As a side note, when I was just feeding my two rats this product a 4.5 lb bag was done in about 30 days.
Question:	How is this ok for mice when everything I see says mice can't have raisins
Answer:	I only feed this as a treat for my rats. I wouldn't use it as their only diet.

Feeding Guide

The average adult rat will require 20‐25g/day of Reggie Rat & Mouse. The average adult mouse will require 5‐10g/day of Reggie Rat & Mouse. Fresh water should always be available.

Rats often receive a bad press and many people are scared of them. However, fancy rats are completely different from wild rats.

Don’t be taken in by all you read and hear they make really wonderful pets and delightful companions.

Some people say they don’t like rats tails; but cats, dogs and rabbits all have tails and rats tails are just the right size and shape.

All fancy rats are friendly not to mention smart, affectionate and playful!

Rats are social animals and get lonely and unhappy so it’s best to get a pair.

Feeding Your Rats

Rats are omnivorous requiring plant and protein food sources, specially formulated diets help to meet those requirements.

Rats need feeding twice a day, give only what can be eaten in a day and check for stale food!

An earthenware bowl keeps food dry, clean and prevents Rats from tipping. Bowls must be cleaned after use. If you’re changing your Rats diet introduce the new food gradually. Mix one quarter of the new with three quarters of the old on the first day and then increase the new and decrease the old over a 10-day period. This should make sure your Rats have no tummy upsets.

Mice are nervous creatures and harder to handle than some of the larger species such as rats.

They can become tame and will take food from the hand and allow themselves to be handled if started at a young age.

Mice are entertaining to watch easy to care for and make few demands.

What to Feed Your Mice

Mice should be fed a complete balanced mouse food. You can treat them with wholemeal bread soaked in water and squeezed out.

An earthenware bowl keeps food dry and clean preventing Mice from tipping. Bowls must be cleaned each use.

If you’re changing their diet introduce the new food gradually.

Mix 1/4 of the new with 3/4 of the old on the first day and then increase the new and decrease the old over a 10-day period.

This should ensure your Mice have no tummy upsets.

In the summer they love treats like Dandelion heads and seeding grass, don’t overdo this.

They also like to nibble a little carrot. Mice are omnivorous but it is a myth that they love cheese It isn't good for them and is only used in mousetraps because it smells strong and has a good texture for putting on the spike.

Question:	How do I clean this before using? There were no instructions
Answer:	I used hot water and some paper towels just to make sure it wasn’t dusty at least but I didn’t use soap because I didn’t want to miss any of it and put the dog food in it.

Answer:	There really isn’t a number of turns just don’t close it to tight . I have had mine for 6 months and it works great . I bought a smaller one for rice and I use it nearly every day and it works great too .

Answer:	no, our scooper came in great condition but we have yet to use it. I found it easier just to use a standard measuring cup found at the Dollar Store.

Answer:	I have two 35 lb. vittle vaults. One holds a 30 pound bag of small bites food. The other holds a 25 pound bag of larger kibble for a much bigger dog. Both are equally full when I empty in a new bag. I would say the size of your dog food really affects how much it will actually hold. I ordered the vaults that were slightly larger than what I knew my bags of dog food were. I also empty the bag into it a little at a time, then shake the vault to gradually pack in the food. I have been very satisfied with my purchase.

Answer:	Yes it should be alright for flying squirrels. It is balanced nutrition. You can also put a calcium cuttle bone(like for birds) in for your flyer.

Answer:	No it is NOT mandatory for a hamster's diet but, it IS very good for them. I use a mixture of seed-feed, like Vita Craft Dwarf formula, AND Mazuri pellets. That, and some small bits of fresh vegetables. I've had dwarf's live up to, and a few just past 3-years. best luck to you and your little one's!

Answer:	This is a very nice ottoman, very sturdy and looks great. It is 44 inches long, 15 inches wide and 14 1/2 inches high. Very happy with this purchase.

Answer:	I can't speak to the other Vine reviewers, but I never feel pressured to provide a positive review for any of the products I receive. I've given plenty of Vine products 1-3 star reviews. I think most companies feel like they have a good product and want to get a few thorough reviews up on Amazon, so they release some of their product for Vine reviews. But they already believe they have a good product. Companies with questionable products are probably not going to release their merchandise to Amazon to hand out as Vine review material.I can tell you that this storage ottoman definitely exceeded my expectations for the price that it sells for. You won't mistake it for a $700 piece of furniture, but I feel that it does its job really well for the price.
