Question:	Does it set on the ground or attached to the tank
Answer:	I had both the medium size and the large size of this pet bed warmer. My cats preferred the medium. Even though it is long and narrow, it gives them a choice; the whole bed is not heated but if they get too warm they could roll off of it without having to leave the bed. The large one gave them no option in the cat bed so I put it on the couch where they could still use it but could roll off of it partway when too warm. Unfortunately the large one somehow became WAY TOO HOT I think the thermostat broke. I didn't realize it until my sick old cat would not lie down, and when I put my hand on it, it was scorching hot! I cut off the cord and threw it out so no one else would try to use it. The medium ones have always worked well for me. I would think you could bend the large one somewhat up the side of the cat's bed but you might want to consider the medium size so they can choose whether to lie directly on the heat or not. I realize your question is an old one but maybe this will help you or someone!
Question:	Does it hold more than one light
Answer:	I only buy the K&H heating pads for my cats. The reason is they are low wattage and hold a constant 101 temperature which is the body temperature of a cat. I have used this heating pad for over 15 years. I wouldn't use any other brand they last a long time.
Question:	How far does the horizontal rod extend? Is there only one size
Answer:	This product is meant to be put inside of a pet's bed under 1/2" to 1" of fabric. We do not supply separate covers for this product.

Question:	The instructions state there is a screw that can be tightened to fix the height of the lazy arm, but there is no screw. Am I missing a part
Answer:	Find the back of the connector where the lazy arm is attached to the central bolt. There should be either a triangle shaped piece or a winged piece (I didnt see them when I adjusted it on my critters tank) it's not a separate screw but one that has a handle on it. Like a camera tripod would.
Question:	My tank is 18 1/2 inches tall. Will this adjust to hold the lights above the tank? It says there is an extension rod, but want to make sure that works
Answer:	Pretty sure that will be alright. The extension rod basically doubles the height it can attach to. Idr what my tank height is, but it's 75-80 gal and I was able to fit it on there.
Question:	Does this slide under the tank
Answer:	Its made to slide just about an inch or so under the edge of the tank and then tightens at the top basically hugging the aquarium side. Problem: I can't lift my aquarium and slide the foot under the tank while holding up the tank with one hand and the stand with the other. I personally think its a terrible design not only for that reason but because the tank is just resting on the foot and to me it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Maybe placing it under the stand would work better. Oh, the box says one stand but its two but you can just not put one of the hangers on. I'm totally bummed out because I bought the double lamp and it doesn't clamp and now I have to return the stand and gosh I just hate having to deal with the return and call UPS to come pick it up and the double lamp and crap having to order new clamp lamps and I don't trust those either. CRAP, WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY OWNS AQUARIUMS DESIGN A DECENT STAND?!!

Answer:	Off white but you do not want to purchase this product from the company . I was in a hurry and didn't do my normal investigating. The products are very small and made of very thin cardboard or some type of paper products. If it gets wet I assure you that you might as well find a garbage can to throw it away. I didn't return mine as it was Christmas shopping season, I had it probably a month before I had time to open it to use . Wow what a surprise ! You can barely see the writing on it. With 8 adult children, 23 grandchildren , 3 great-grandchildren and many others we share Christmas with needless to say I had no time to go threw return process. Unless you need something to start a fire with or like paper products for home use I suggest you look elsewhere. I didn't purchase my set just for looks as I was also in process of bathroom remodel, I live in the country and got it to use for the purpose it'seems for. Good luck.
