Question:	Can sound be turned off
Answer:	Not that I know of! We never tried. The only problem we have is that it will not move very well on carpet and sometimes not at all. I just purchased another set from a different vendor that seems like they really work but my house flooded for aharvey and Ismelda so I will not get them out soon. My husband is a Marine vet he served for 42 years and he was in tracts so he was so excited but they quit working and I really hope it is due to carpet. I bought the other set from Laugh it up a man from Winnie Texas.

Question:	Can this thermometer get the temperature in a dryer
Answer:	I doubt it. The wavelength of the sensor is 8-14 microns and plexiglass has very low transmittance beyond about 3 microns (according to this spec sheet http://www.plexiglas.com/export/sites/plexiglas/.content/medias/downloads/sheet-docs/plexiglas-general-information-and-physical-properties.pdf). Whether or not the material your dryer door is made of is the same is another matter. If the transmittance is close to zero then you will essentially be measuring the temperature of the outside of the door.
Question:	Does this work on internal meat temperatures
Answer:	If you cut the meat in half you might be able to take the surface temperature of the meat, but then your meat is going to be cut in half and that's not real appetizing. Blue cheese is very appealing, maybe some bacon.
Question:	Will this take the temperature of a child's fever also
Answer:	If your child can open their mouth and hold it open for a few seconds, then YES! It is an extremely accurate way to measure temperature! Just point the dot at the back of the throat, and it gives you an immediate and accurate reading. I'm at a loss why people only considered pointing it at their foreheads or other external body parts.
Question:	What is the range (distance from gun to target) or recommended for this gun? How accurate is it at 6-8 feet range
Answer:	The 12:1 ratio means at 12" the gun is accurate for a one inch spot. So at 6'-8' it will be accurate for a 6"-8" inch spot. So the farther you get away from the spot being measured, the less accurate it will be. Like Cheryl said, think of it like a cone.

Answer:	I've never tried that but I use a base board thermostat so it cycles off and on to maintain the desired heat.

Answer:	I've noticed no difference between the two. The amount of heat put out is more in the wattage and not the color of the ceramic. I've used 60W, 75W & 100W for my baby chicks and ducks, depending on the size of the tub and age of the bird.

Answer:	I haven't measured the exact temperature, but know that it gets hot enough to melt a thick vinyl hose completely in half inside my beer fermenting freezer. I would guess it would be hot enough to give one a good burn if you touched it while it was on.

Answer:	Yes, that's why I bought mine, tired of the filter sucking up the floating thermometers. I find the first trigger reads 5 to 10 degrees high, next couple squeezes zeros in. First option may be good for tricking your friends ...or not such good friends.

Answer:	Well, first of all - I don't even know what a beardie is? But we purchased these bulbs for my son's Corn Snake. It is in a very large tank, and the bulb has been great, and still have only had to use just one. GoOd luck with your BEARDIES. (?)

Answer:	In my opinion it's less of a hazard. That being said it is still hot and should be kept away from heat sensitive and fire hazards. I use 2 of these in place of 1 250 watt heat lamp

Answer:	It depends on 2 things. Being free of drafts. And it depends on which wattage ceramic disc you use. There are two different sizes, 100 watts, and 150 watts. I have one of each in my "New Hatch" brooder The Chicks are in there for about 3 weeks until I move them to a different larger Brooder. I use 2 different wattage's in the overhead Ceramic bulb holders and keep a thermometer under them so I can watch the temp. If it is really chilly in my insulated Coop, I switch on the 150 watt as well as the 100 watt. Or switch to just the 150 watt. It depends a lot on the ambient temperature of the area which you need to heat. It also depends on the distance the Discs are from what you are heating. Please don't burn your animals. A Thermometer is your best guide depending on all the previous mentioned conditions.

Using two photo-resistors are a great way to have light control of your project.

You can use the light source to tell the robot in what direction to move or move straight.

Ultrasonic Follow

If there is an obstacle in front, tank robot will move forward or backward with the obstacle. If there is an obstacle on the left or right side, tank robot will turn left or right with obstacle. The 8X16 LED matrix panel will lit and show motion icon.

Obstacle Avoidance

Question:	Would the 75 watt be too much for a 40 gallon tank housing a Bearded Dragon
Answer:	Not at all! Make sure you have a dome that can handle a 75 watt bulb! Also purchase a temp gun to monitor temperature. If the basking area is too hot you can buy a stand for the dome to sit it higher above the tank
Question:	Are these a fire hazard for a chicken coop? What type of light fixture should be used for these? Thanks
Answer:	Be careful with any source of heat in a chicken coop. We had a major chicken coop fire. Your hens can knock down a lamp. I had the black 150 watt bulb (properly installed in a reflector with a porcelain socket.) The hens knocked it down and it ignited the straw. Hens survived, lost top half of coop with plastic corrugated roofing. Rebuilt the coop with a metal corrugated. We still use the black heat lamps, but they are secured much better nowadays.
Question:	Would these work for feral cats inside of a 18 X 48 metal cabinet? Don't want it to get too hot
Answer:	It should work. Ok. It depends on how cold it is and how many cats are inside. The 75watt ones get roughly about as hot as a 200watt light bulb.

Answer:	I only use that bulb as an additional basking site. I would not use it specifically for basking. I Have the 35 W bulb and at 9 inches I get a temperature of 110 to 112°. I Will be ordering the next size bulb due to the 35 W not being adequate enough .My terrarium is the same size as yours and you should use something like a160 W mega-Ray type Mercury vapor bulb.

Question:	Will these fit a zoo med nano dome
Answer:	I just looked at the zoo med nano dome description on Amazon and see it saw it's for up to 40 watts. These bulbs are described as 50 watts, are labelled as 50 watts, but actually are 86 watts (I checked with a watt meter since my system runs on solar and I don't want to over discharge my battery at night). I also tested it because it put out a lot more heat than I was expecting for 50 watts. All that said, I would NOT trust them to be safe in a Nano dome. I'm actually requesting to return mine due to the excessive wattage. The return process doesn't appear to be as easy as it is with most Amazon sold items that are defective. The seller has to approve the return first. Mine took a month to arrive from China and I'm hoping I don't have to send it back to point of origin before a refund is issued.
