10 best exo terra tv stands
Exo Terra TV stands are specialized furniture designed to house reptile and amphibian terrariums, particularly those made by Exo Terra. These TV stands are designed to accommodate the unique dimensions and weight requirements of Exo Terra terrariums, which are specifically crafted for the needs of reptiles and amphibians.
One of the key features of Exo Terra TV stands is their ability to support and secure the terrarium on top of the stand, providing a stable and safe environment for the pet reptiles or amphibians. These stands often have strong and sturdy construction to ensure durability and longevity.
In terms of heating solutions for reptile and amphibian enclosures, Exo Terra offers a range of products, including heat lamps and heat mats. Heat lamps are commonly used to provide a consistent and controlled heat source within the terrarium, mimicking the natural basking conditions of the reptiles. Heat mats, on the other hand, are placed underneath the terrarium to create a warm area for the pets to rest and regulate their body temperature.
It's important to ensure that the heating solutions used are appropriate for the specific needs of the reptiles or amphibians being kept, as different species have varying temperature requirements for their well-being.Additionally, it's crucial to monitor and regulate the temperature within the terrarium to maintain a suitable and comfortable environment for the pets.
For specific information about Exo Terra TV stands, heat lamps, and other related products, it's recommended to visit Exo Terra's official website or consult reputable pet supply stores that carry Exo Terra products.

The Exo Terra Screen Terrarium is a perfect habitat for arboreal reptiles and amphibians that are sensitive to stagnant air. The non-restricted air-flow provides optimal ventilation while minimizing odors and fungus growth in your reptile's habitat. The screen design provides a broader temperature gradient, which helps your reptiles to regulate their body temperature more effectively and prevents overheating. The aluminum screen mesh allows ultraviolet rays from UVB lights or the sun to penetrate deep inside the enclosure. The substrate tray allows you to place a small layer of substrate to absorb spray water and increase humidity levels. The substrate tray can easily be removed from the enclosure through the swiveling bottom door. The Sturdy nickel plated latches add stability to the enclosure and keep your reptiles safe & secure. Add an Exo Terra Background (optional) to raise humidity and to collect misting water for species that prefer licking water droplets, such as chameleons, day geckos and many other arboreal species. The Screen Terrarium can easily be assembled using a single screw driver.

User questions & answers
Question: | Do the doors lock |
Answer: | Yes they do, at least they latch |
Question: | Does it come with the light |
Answer: | No. It's just the screen cage with the tray. |
Question: | Would it be good for a cuban false chameleon |
Answer: | Hi! I have only seen people house the Cuban false chameleons (or Chameleolis) in all glass terrariums with screen lids. I do not personally own one myself however. I have two Panthers, a Jacksons, and a crested gecko. However, I have read that it would be okay to house them in an all screen enclosure.. but continue your research and make sure that this is actually a viable environment for them before purchasing the cage or the chameleon!! Hope this helps. Good luck! |
Question: | Could this be laid on its side for a bearded dragon, or is the mesh on the top different than on the sides (thinking heat lamp placement |
Answer: | Mesh is the same on all sides and top, but the bottom has no screen. There is a plastic tray that fits in. It does not seal very good and if laid on side I would think it would fall into the cage. |

Question: | Ok, we need to have the hinges on the door on the left side of tank will this worl? Can we choose what side the hinges go on |
Answer: | They come on the right side. There may be some way you could put it together differently but I think it may require putting that whole side upside down with the little flap door that is on the bottom. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this be good for Leopard geckos |
Answer: | No this is not suitable for leopard geckos. It is.a tall cage. Leopard geckos do not climb very much they need walking space more than climbing space. |
Question: | Does it come with the plants inside |
Answer: | No. You get the screen terrarium Only. You decorate and landscape yourself. |
Question: | would this be good for a small tree frog |
Answer: | tree frogs are escape artist, thats mainly why glass is used. He would have to be big and it would have to do with the species of tree frog. Tree frogs need humidity and a controlled temp. Google care sheet of the species you have and read housing . I like to follow the care sheet outline. If you do use its mainly only good in summer. in winter you would not be able to control temp unless you controled the room temp. Depends on species |
Question: | What is the measurements |
Answer: | 18 x 18 x 24 |

Question: | Can this be used for finches and canaries |
Answer: | I think it could but with large doors a greater chance of birds escaping when opening to feed and clean |
Question: | Is this good for a water dragon |
Answer: | No |
Question: | would a ball python rip through the screen |
Answer: | It's possible. With enough force, a snake could work a weak spot in a corner. We keep smaller animals in ours. |
Question: | has anyone tried attaching this to the top of a 40gal breeder tank (its the same dimesions |
Answer: | Yes, that is exactly what we did with ours. It works, but depending on the lip of the tank, our tank had an odd lip in the front and back so it made it more difficult to attach. But it does fit perfect |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this be okay for a baby leopard gecko? I have read that baby geckos can get stressed out if the tank is too big |
Answer: | You'll hear that about a lot of animals. What stresses animals (ball pythons, baby geckos, betta fish, etc) out isn't the size of the enclosure, it's the open space. They feel exposed, because their instincts want them to avoid situations like that so predators won't get them. Just fill the space with hiding spots and climbing things and all that good stuff, and they'll be fine. The only other issue can be finding food in such a big space, but with baby animals, you generally want to tong-feed them or give them a bowl anyway. Don't just pour crickets in. You should probably go ahead and get the 24x18x12, though, that extra chunk of space is ideal. |
Question: | how many gallons is it |
Answer: | Approximately 16.8 gallons |
Question: | Can I use this for a male mouse |
Answer: | Don’t see why not! Plenty of space! But the rock background is styrofoam so I suggest taking it out if you’ll be housing a mouse in there. |
Question: | Can this be used for an adult leopard gecko |
Answer: | Yes there is plenty of room for an adult leopard gecko, |

User questions & answers
Question: | IS this solid wood or particle wood with facing on the outside, will it hold a V twin engine? What is the max weight load |
Answer: | It's solid wood. At roughly 10lb per gallon (weight of water plus rocks and decorations) this stand is capable of holding at least 200 lbs on its top shelf. |
Question: | Is this large enough for a 20 gallon long tank? for reptiles, not fish |
Answer: | No. This is for a standard 20 gallon tall not the long. |
Question: | Can this hold two tanks? A 20g high on the top and a 10g on the lowest shelf? I would take off the middle one or not attach it |
Answer: | This is a well built stand and is very sturdy so I don't see why not. I probably would not put it on the middle shelf but the top and bottom shelves should not be a problem. |
Question: | how tall is the stand? how long and wide is it also? I see the dimensions, but which number is which measurement |
Answer: | it is about 30 inches high about 25 inches long and about 13 inches wide. this is a very strong stand when put together. didn't take me long at all to put 2 of them together. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can you put a baby crested gecko in here |
Answer: | We didn't have a baby but I can't imagine it wouldn't work for a baby. Its a great tank and not any obvious areas of escape. |
Question: | Is this good for a baby emerald tree boa |
Answer: | I don't see why not |
Question: | For a green anole which tank would be the best suitable? I am leaning towards 12x12x18. And does it leak at all |
Answer: | It doesn't leak at the base up until the front ventilation, just below the doors. so you would be safe to make a water ate a up until that point. I like to say bigger is better. Minimal I go 18x18x24. It's better for the animals and us as far as being able to put proper climbing and hiding decorations as well as their water sources. |
Question: | How many gallons is the 18x18 x |
Answer: | If I've done the math right it's 33.6 gallons |

Question: | Will this work (medium) to also use for basking since it has 3 sockets or only uva and uvb? do you have something that will have all 3 in one |
Answer: | No, it will not work with a basking; you need one to face vertically down, all 3 sockets are horizontal, plus this has a max of 26 watts |
Question: | what size terrarium does this fit |
Answer: | I have mine on the 18x18x24 Exo Terra enclosure |
Question: | Can you use the 15w Day Heat Lamp incandescent bulb in this |
Answer: | Yes it will handl up to 60w bulb |
Question: | Will a 15w light bulb do anything for small light fixture |
Answer: | Sure, a lot of people use the 15W blue bulbs with no issues (ie: a blue night bulb for ambient low heat or night viewing). BUT on this fixture, both bulbs are on at the same time (you cant operate them independently) so using a night bulb and a regular bulb for illumination wouldn't do much aside from raising the temp in the terrarium. Personally, I have 2 fixtures on 1 terrarium... 1 fixture (the small) with 26W CFL bulbs (2) for my plants and day cycle then a second (the micro fixture 1 bulb version) with a 15W blue night light so I can watch my RETF's eat at night. Hope that helps.PS: I really wouldn't use 2 regular 15W bulbs for illumination , It just seems like it would be to dim... especially if you want to have plants. |
