User questions & answers
Question: | Is there a size chart |
Answer: | Not sure what you are asking. Go to EasyCare site. There is a chart that will tell you what the width and length of your horses hoof is for the size of boot you need. The size of the boot is imprinted on the lower front of the boot |
Question: | Will these hold up when being worn all the time? I have a horse with soft soles and would like to get away from having her shod all the time |
Answer: | No it does not. Easy boot does make pads for their boots but they likely would not work with these, as they are quite snug. Pads work in easy boot clouds, which are a boot for horses with sore feet, and not recommended for much if any riding. |
Question: | Is this for 2 boots or |
Answer: | They can go on all 4 hooves (barefoot of course). About sizing, you have to refer to the Cavallo chart ; there is no correspondance with any metal shoe. |
Question: | Where do you put that you want a left or right. I need the set but wasn't to make sure I'm not getting two of the same side |
Answer: | One shoe. I have to say that it was worth every penny: I have been riding on these for over a month and they are a terrific product. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work for Laminitis |
Answer: | Hi, yes it does come with the one pad. I did buy some extras of different thicknesses for different amounts of cushioning. I ended up using the green ones, they offered the most padding. Have to say, they made a huge difference. Duncan had bad stone bruise and an abscess. He absolute loved these boots. Took some practice but they were easy to get on and off. Duncan even took today impatiently lifting his foot to put them on before we let him out. He could immediately walk better and gave immediate relief from the pain. Took a month or so before he was better but these were the only thing that worked. The added inserts aso made it easier to size since they added height to the bottom, although they do tend to flatten out after a bit Duncan was tough two size and we originally got a pair that was a little bit too small. We returned them and got them next size up and it worked well. Can't say enough good things about these boots. It does come with a thin insert, but the extra pads available were well worth the money too. Hope this helps. Good Luck! Mike |
Question: | I want these boots for my gelding but his hooves are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, the top measurement for size 4, should stick with the 4 or size up |
Answer: | It is just one boot. |
Question: | Can they be worn by a horse with shoes |
Answer: | you need to measure the hoof. you can't go by regular steel shoe size. Go to the EasyBoot website, there is a chart for sizing. My horse wears a size 0 or 1 shoe, and a size 2 therapy boot. my other horse wears a size 2 shoe and a size 3 boot. measurement is crucial for fit and ease of application. Also I buy EasyCloud pad insert (a different style boot)if extra padding is needed. you may need to go up one size if you do that. or I buy pad inserts from Equine Digit Support Systems that you can trim to fit. The pads included with these don't have much cushion. |
Question: | How do i measure for it and is this one boot or a pair for |
Answer: | You could, but why would you want to? The idea for this boot is to provide support for healing. I would not, personally, use this boot over shoes ... and I would be curious to know why you would want to put any boot over a shoe WITH a pad. Usually, Easyboots are used on barefoot horses, or sometimes over shoes for rocky terrain or pavement ... but I'm not sure I've ever heard of anyone using any boot over a shoe with a pad ... |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this the price for one or four |
Answer: | My friend used hers for the trailer when she didn't have shipping boots. Her horse rode three hours in the trailer with no ill affects. It won't offer the same protection but it works better than no boots. |
Question: | How do you measure for these |
Answer: | When I received these boots they were only the left ones. Aren’t they supposed to be left front and back and right front and back? |
Question: | Can boot be worn on either hoof |
Answer: | I bought the mediums N they r fairly stretchy. Have used em on horses from 14.2 to 15.2h. N fit well. Only thing is watch a video on how to use the back boots correctly or they will bunch out after a lap or 2. So even if you think you know just YouTube back boots and apply them correctly as you watch and then they are good. These are just peculiar for the backs and will bunch out if not literally perfect. I use them for trail riding, and just daily riding in an arena. Have used them to jump in a few times. Really they are fairly universal. Stitching has come out on a few spots but I use them just about everyday and have had then almost 2 yrs. |
Question: | I have quarter horse he stands 15.1. He has shoes on is 3 a stander size for quarter horse |
Answer: | I bought this set for my mare and it's great. It is all 4 boots! The pink is a little too bright but the quality is awesome and you can't beat the price! |
