Answer:	Can you break up the pellets into shorter pieces? The opening of the feeder might not let enough food drop through if they are so long that they won’t fit. In my experience, tiny round pellets for small fish or bigger flakes can be easily adjusted with the setting. Larger pellets will work, probably no problem, just has to be tested according to your needs. Still the best feeder I have ever tried.

Answer:	Dear CFL68, Both feeders have up to 4 feeding times setting per day. And can fits for all kinds of fish food except wet food. However, they also have difference. PRO-E has a setting of 1 or 2 rotations per time. It uses 2*aaa batteries(included), and it's a compact one, smaller and intelligent. PRO-X has a setting of only 1 rotation per time. Question:	Does the latch where the food come out of only open when the timer goes off or is it going to be open all of the time? I need to put live bugs in this
Answer:	The latch stays at whatever position you set it to. You can manually close it, but then it will stay closed when the timer goes off and no food will come out. Better choose another feeder for live bugs.

Answer:	It should work fine I don’t use mine because the width is mot big enough for my tank

Answer:	No, the minimum setting would still be a few pellets which is way to much for a single betta to eat in a day.

Question:	Does the splitter give equal amounts into each bowl? For example, if I set the feeder amount to 1/4c, would each cat bowl get an 1/8c or a 1/4c each
Answer:	You would have to be creative to mount the dispenser on a wire kennel, by putting a piece of wood or something on the inside to try to hold it. Also remember it holds a 40lbs. bag of food. That's a lot of weight for a wire kennel. Mine is mounted on the wall, I would probably try sticking to that.I love it, no more crumbs in the bottom of the bag or container and its easy to fill my dogs food bowl. Just know that the higher you mount it the higher you have to lift a bag of food to pour it in the top.
Question:	Can bowls be removed for cleaning with spout left screwed on
Answer:	It's a simple water dispenser. Nothing fancy, and does it's job. I've been using it for 6 years now, I have no complaints. It is durable and has a large capacity - feeds my 6 cats for 3 days. Different people have different requirements and expectations, this one meets mine. The only drawback is that it does not have a proper filter holder, you'll have to figure that one out yourself. Also, you should (obviously) clean it regularly as it collects dust and fur like any other non-motorized dispenser.
Question:	Is there a way to buy just the spout only? Mine broke after 2 years of use but the bowls are still fine
Answer:	I used this dispenser for a while only. I had difficulty removing the storage tank and replacing it. As far as the dogs not drinking from it, there might be an odor caused by the plastic it’s made from that’s not noticeable to you. Try washing it out with clear vinegar and let it set out in the sun to dry. Hope that helps.

Installation:

According to the form of the tank, there are two install methods for choice:

a. Fix the feeder to the tank wall and tighten the screws.

b. Separate both sides of velcro, then paste the velcro on the bottom of feeder and another side on the tank cover, then fish food will drop down during rotation.

Clock Setting:

1.For the first time use, please align the feeder’s time and the local time first; 2.Press the "SET" button and the "HOUR" will flash; then press "ADJUST" to set the "HOUR";

3.To set the "MINUTES", press "MODE" the "MINUTES" will flash and then press the "ADJUST" to set the "MINUTES";

4.Once the correct time is displayed, press "SET" to save the settings.

Notice:

a.Please avoid twisting the feeding box by hand;

b.For the first time use, please align the feeder’s time and the local time first;

c.If LCD is displayed abnormally after batteries completed, please notice that whether the batteries are placed correctly, then pay attention to the power of batteries;

d.If you can not find the battery compartment, just remove the holder from feeder and you will easily find it.

Question:	Will this work with a lid that is not folded or connected
Answer:	I guess it depends on what type of food you use I use small pellets in mine and it lasts about 4 to 5 days
Question:	Is there a way to turn it off without taking the attachment off and then removing the batteries? I would like to feed manually most of the time
Answer:	P1/P2, If set P1, feed once per 24h; If set P2, feed twice per 24h; Set: Set button. Good Luck!
Question:	What is the difference between pro-E and pro-X
Answer:	As long as you have about a 4 inch opening on the top of the bowl then it would likely work
Question:	What is Capacity
Answer:	Hard to say. There is a sliding gate that controls the amount when it dispenses. Depending on the diameter of the pellet this feeder might not be a good fit for that.
