When I removed the box, and was about discard the envelope I noticed the vial of powder and the little spoon in the bottom of the envelope about to be lost. That’s what might have happened to you. |

After 5 minutes, the color level will increase the longer it sits there. The accurate reading is at that 5 minute mark. I've left the vial sitting there while I did maintenance on my tanks and after 30 minutes, the color of the liquid had changed to a higher level of nitrate. |
