Question:	Is this intended for use as the main filter system or to be used in conjunction with another filter system
Answer:	Yes we have! At first we thought my 5 year old daughter had figured out how to operate them, but in the end we came to the conclusion they are turning themselves on, every night at the same time we turned them on originally. They run for several hours then turn themselves off before morning. Then they are on again that night (keeping the same light pattern that they were set to before). It’s crazy! But nice. We used them to decorate a net canopy over her bed and when we walk into her room to put her to bed, the soft glow of the lights is already on.

Answer:	Yes. Plug the hose into the integrated blowing port (exhaust port) to use as a blower. We recommend attaching the wands to the hose to add reach and the car nozzle to focus the air stream when using as a blower. Hope that helps!

Answer:	No, you must unscrew the handrail each time you lower it or raise it. The handrail is one piece (as described in a previous answer), but the "lever" is a T-bar (comes with the treadmill) that has a storage space on the right side, NOT a "spring-loaded" type of lever like I was expecting. I would have concerns about the hardware stripping if I were planning to use the handrail up and then lowering to store the treadmill at the end of each use, but I plan to use it as a mostly under-desk unit and am pleased with the product for that use.

Answer:	This is a very powerful vacuum and would make very short work of COLD ashes. However, since it was not designed specifically for this use there are a few things you may wish to consider. Tips for using a betta sponge filtration system:

1. SPONGE PREPARATION --- When replacing the sponge filter, we recommend to take the sponge media and move it around the gravel or substrate.

2. DIP IN AQUARIUM WATER --- For washing the sponge, always use aquarium water instead of tap water. Do not use hot water. It is recommended to wash it every few (2 to 4) weeks.

4. REPLACE EVERY 6 MONTHS --- It is recommended to replace the sponge every 5-6 months to retain the filtering effect.

How to Keep the Filter Afloat

1. Before placing the sponge filter in the aquarium, keep it soaked in water for at least 15-minutes.

2. Squeeze the filter pad until bubbles are no longer visible outside the filter. Then squeeze it in the water to remove all the trapped air, and then wait for the sponge to absorb enough water.

3. If the filter is still floating, observe for a few days. It will drop downwards eventually (once the water is completely absorbed by the sponge).

4. One more reason for the floating of the filter is the high pressure of the air pump used. If the air pump pressure is very high, it can make the filter float on water.
