Answer:	According to their literature on their website, which does not refer to head pressure, but rather breaks it down in wattage for a 2HP 3 phase pump: The average additional power required is just 0.8 watts Example: From the above data, the number of hours required to use 1 kW = 1,250 (1,000 / 0.8) At $0.10 per kWh and a pool pump running 12 hours per day for 365 days per year, the FlowVisTM will result in an additional cost of $0.35 per year to run the pump.
Question:	Would it be best to install this before or after the pool filter
Answer:	I would recommend installing this upstream (before) the pool filter, as you're probably more likely to find more available straight pipe. Try to install this along the straightest run of pipe you can find between the pump and filter. General rule of thumb for flow meters is find a spot with 10 pipe diameter's worth of straight pipe upstream of the meter and 5 pipe diameter's worth of straight pipe downstream of the pipe, but in reality, you probably won't find this, so try to find a spot with at least 5 and 2 pipe diameter's worth, respectively, instead. All of this is to ensure as much clean, uniform flow around the meter as possible.
Question:	Could this go after the filter and chloranator? I wonder if the strong chlorine would have a degrading effect
Answer:	The FlowVis is 100% corrosion resistant and uses a hastelloy spring which will not be effected by the chlorine. If you have the option, install the FlowVis before the chlorinator, but if you need to install it after the chlorinator it won't be damaging to do so by any means. Thank you!

Answer:	No. This valve body will allow water to be diverted between a tub spout and a shower head (the diversion is actually caused by a button or knob on the tub spout.) The bottom outlet can be capped, making this a shower only valve body. In order to do what you want, you also need the Delta R11000 three way diverter valve body. it allows control between a shower head and a hand held sprayer.In summary, you will need the R10000 and the R11000, and a decent plumber to install it properly.I stress to you to get a plumber who knows what he is doing. I have come in behind several plumbers that piped the R11000 incorrectly, yielding aZERO result. The valve bodies come with directions on how to pipe them, but literacy is failing in this country.

Answer:	When I changed mine they lined up to the filter properly and same for the fronts, just make sure you plumb enough on the two front ports that you can cut away and re-glue things as necessary; think somebody posted this in the reviews and I almost forgot when I did mine. The bottom drain I never glued, just jam in the elbow when I backwash.

Answer:	Multiple reasons... Since these threads are cast, and not machined, partial threads are easier to manufacture. And since the seal is on a gasket and not via the threads, partial threads are not as prone to debris interference, especially in garden hose fittings. Lastly, when disconnecting a hose, pressure is relieved more effectively thru interrupted threads than thru continuous threads.

Like the V2, the V3 is a reversible check valve that allows a single pump to not only perform the basic livewell functions necessary to keep your catch alive, but does it in a passive or automatic manner. It also has a third closed “RECIRC” position. By mounting the pump to the valve body, the operator only has to decide whether he wants his livewell functioning or empty. When the first fish is caught, place the valve in the “AUTO” position and turn on the pump. When the boat is off plane the pump will recirculate and aerate the livewell water and simultaneously blend in a portion of fresh lake water. Used livewell water is expelled out the overflow as fresh water enters to prevent any ammonia build up. When the boat is put on plane, the valve’s check flapper will prevent water loss out the drain, and allow the pump to continue its recirculation duties. Any water lost out the overflow while running on plane is automatically made up when the boat is brought off plane at the next fishing location. All this is accomplished without any operator assistance. For those times when outside water is not wanted or available, such as, adding ice, livewell additives, going through locks, traveling to out of water weigh-ins, dockside refueling or using our optional Pump-out / Venturi Aerator, place the valve in the “RECIRC” position. To empty, simply turn off the pump and move the valve to the “EMPTY” position for gravity draining. The barbed version includes a hose clamp and molded bump. The V3 valve has two cable approach options. The cable can approach the valve from either the front/livewell or the rear/transom side of the boat.

Answer:	I keep one in the freezer all the time, I have four, I love them. I take a refrigerated soda can, put it in the freezer for 25 minutes exactly, then place it in a frozenThermos. Love it. Soda is just at freezing point. I can leave a can in the over 100 degree Arizona weather, in the car for a long time, and come out, and thething is still cold!!!! I just love these insulators, buying them up on Amazon!!! I contacted Thermos to see if I they produce the ones for the small cans, but they don't.

Answer:	I put a thick 2" X 1/2" rubber band over the shoulder of the bottle so that it provides a seal where the bottle contacts the top of the can insulator. Size #82 bands would probably work, but I just use the ones that come with certain types of produce at the grocery store.
