Answer:	The amount of bubbles depends more on your pump than your stone. I have two different types stones on my pump, having broken one of a set. Seeing this perfom next to a flat stone, I can saw it gives at least as many as the flat stone. I would say the bubbles are larger than in a misting effect. They are not huge by any means, but they are disernable as individual bubbles.
