Answer:	It’s all in the control. It’s meant to suck up some gravel and thus taking up buried “dirt” (leftover food, dead plants etc.) that’s in the gravel. If you poke it into the gravel then pull back and let it work for a sec than all good. Same with sand though it is more difficult to control, but is possible. I had a 150gal with 3” of sand with stingrays on top. I was able to clean the sand no problem.

Why can not pump

The cleaner pumping function is work by siphon effect.

Put the start water line which below the handle into water when you use the cleaner and turn on the switch.

If the water level is really too low, you can take out the No. 2/3/4 extension tube and pump directly by the No. 1 sand-washer mainframe.

Please be careful avoid over the water level above the guard line.

Answer:	Never really measured it, but very small, perfect for grown bettas but it's not a baby food m like they make you think. If you're breeding, try hikari first bites.

Question:	Will this work for a turtle tank with about 8 inches of water
Answer:	It is typical for them to be picky eaters. Mine had a favorite but then I gave him Bug Bites and he wont touch his favorite food now. So I guess he changed favorites. Is he looking at his food or trying it and spiting it out or just ignoring the food? Ignoring food could be a sign that he is sick.
Question:	Can this product suck up food flakes from actual rocks

Question:	Will it reach from my fish tank to my brute trash can
Answer:	This is about four feet long. I do not know how far your trash can is from your tank.
Question:	My aquarium gravel is the fine grain sand. Like saltwater sand. Will this cleaning siphon suck away my sand or just the dirty water? Thanks
Answer:	It will suck up the sand unless you lower the flow rate that this is cable of doing also it has two attachments. One attachment is shorter and will get close to the substrate, while the other one is longer and will lift the sand higher without going past a filter and into the discharge tube. My substrate is coarser than sand and it is lifted up onto the tube but not past the filter. I do not lower the discharge rate with the control and have no problems.
Question:	I'm not getting enough suction power to get the gravel into the long nozzle. so my gravel isn't getting as clean as i'd like. what am i doing wrong
Answer:	Mine doesn't have any lack of suction. In fact, it sucks so hard that I have to NOT touch the crushed coral with it. Couple things to check maybe on yours... make sure the crimp tool is not in place--that slows the flow and reduces/restricts suction. Also, it helps a lot if the suction portion in the tank is higher than the outflow. I put a bucket on the floor to empty into, which is about a 2' drop in elevation between the intake and outflows. Beyond that, maybe you have an air leak somewhere? Oh, also, make sure you pump it a few times after water starts flowing... water will start flowing before the tube is completely full--and therefore produce a weaker flow.Hope this helps.
Question:	How well would this work for a 75g aquarium? I have such a hard time with my regular gravel vac
Answer:	Mine works great. Once it gets going it goes. Try it if you don't like it return it. I think something with a venturi would be better for a tank that size. This way you can dump water directly into the sink instead I f a bucket like me. My tank is only 29 gallons and 10 gallons. Good luck.
