Question:	if this pump doesnt come with tubing, what else do i need to buy? is this pump supposed to sit on the bottom of the tank
Answer:	I own this for a minnow/ bait tank. 40 gallon. The unit comes with 2 long stones and hose for each. Mine has been working very well for 7-8 weeks, supporting 8-15 dozen lake shiners which require lots of oxygen. I imagine sponge stones would work fine.
Question:	Does the 20 have 2 hose spots??? If so, can I use it for both my 10 gallon and 2.5 gallon at the same time
Answer:	Maybe if you can adapt the intake to fit into the 11/16" opening of the elbow that inserts into the sponge.
Question:	does it come with the tubing
Answer:	I use a Aquatop-AP 40 for my filter's & if it's comparable to a Whisper 10 it would be more than enough air.

Question:	Does this pump come with tubing? Or will I need to purchase extra
Answer:	In order to use this filter for a turtle aquarium, your water level must stay ABOVE the minimum water level line at all times, which means it needs to be within 3-4 inches of the top of the tank. This is a problem with most turtle tanks unless you have a Turtle Topper. Otherwise, it will work well for a turtle tank.
Question:	What diameter tube does this require
Answer:	Yes, you sure could! You could use sponge media or filter floss. Just be sure to clean or replace it whenever it becomes clogged.
Question:	How many outlet does it have
Answer:	Yes, it comes with a 3 year warranty on all manufacturer's defects. This does not include normal wear and tear or abuse, of course, but Tetra has a very liberal warranty policy. If you need warranty help, call 1-800-526-0650.
Question:	Can I use this for making compost tea
Answer:	Your initial purchase of the filter includes the Whisper Bio Bags ( 1 of them for the models 20, 30 and 45, 2 for the 70) and the Bio Scrubbers (again, 1 for the 20, 30, 45 models and 2 for the 70). You should replace your cartridges on a monthly basis, but can rinse them in between changes. The Bio Scrubbers should literally last forever, unless you lose them or damage them somehow. Wash these off in a bucket of tank water with a toothbrush.

Question:	Could this pump be considered as a quiet one? My old pumps sound like drilling machines, so I need one on a quieter side. Thank you for any help
Answer:	I originally got the 4 outlet one and it's pretty quiet, I use 3/4 of the outlets. It's pretty quiet and nice control over general flow of air. Liked it so much I got the 8 outlet one but only a day after setting it up the noise is bothering me. The noise is from inside and not so much the unused outlets, I'm using 4-5 currently but got the extra outlets for later use. I am really sensitive to vibrations and the 8 outlet one is making me feel sick in the same room, even with it set on a thick towel. I wish it was nearly as quiet as the 4 one...

Answer:	No not at all. Make sure you get a semi wide tubing. Also use both outputs other wise its loud.....but other than that its amazing

Answer:	You would connect both sides to a T connector (2 into 1) and run it that way. You cannot just use one side.
