| Answer: | As on now, the end of 2015, Costco did bring these back, put on sale, I assume to dump the inventory from the pressure. I bought 4 bags and was now looking for more. My dogs love them and have had no 'effects'. Come to find COstco has now replaced them with a Cadet Branded "Duck Jerky" which is compressed bits into an ear shape with a "Product of Germany" mark, but probably MADE in China, but gets Costco out of the sights of complaints. They are quite different, soft and just break apart, definitely NOT "Jerky", for you could gum them instead of chew. Looking for alternative, but at $33 that is a bit rich |

I did try a turkey treat from Pet Smart that I got him to try but he would only eat it sometimes and it was priced very high also and came in an 8 oz package. He has been eating duck tenders for several years. A brand I purchased at Pet Smart was taken off the market because of complaints about the product. My dog has been well so far. Haven't had any problems. Had concerns about coming from China but have continued with his duck tenders because it's the only treat he truly cares to eat. He will soon be 13 years old so I have just let him be happy and it doesn't seem to be causing him any problems. |

With that being said, it's my understanding that products like this from China are irradiated ( supposed to kill any bacteria or other harmful agents). Use your best conclusions. |
