Answer:	Capsaicin and Capsaicinoids 0.35%. Other ingreds contain Petroleum Distiiate 99.65%. This stuff works very well and is effective. I do recommend this product and carry it whenever we walk our dog.

Answer:	It's not, other than the potential for strength differences between products. Mace is a brand that uses capsaicin pepper spray as well as tear gas. I'm not sure if tear gas can cause any complications for dogs or not.

Answer:	I sent www.halt.com an email 11/10/14 and as of this comment, no response back - yet. Nothing noted on containers for shelf life or expiration date.
Question:	How many shots can you get from one can
Answer:	Don't know yet, hope I never find out. But I have "fired" 4-5 short bursts so far and there seems to be plenty left in the can. Each time the barking stopped and the dog left. My rule is that a barking dog behind me is in an attack position; if it closes it gets a shot. A dog that actually attacked would get a facefull, not a warning shot.

Answer:	I put this on a rug that my dog kept peeing on. I had to soak it almost but it works. And he still use the rug as it was intended which I thought he would try to avoid because of the smell

Answer:	This is not a very big bottle. I did spray a little on particular spots of my lawn and didn’t notice any damage. Unfortunately, this spray did not detour my dog at all. He did not see where I put the spray, when I let him out he went right to the usual spots, I was trying to keep him from.

Answer:	No. In fact, one time I wasn't prepared and it was on my belt (be sure to get the one with belt clip) and I was able to get it off my belt, shake it (just 2 shakes does it) , move the lever and spray before the dog got to us. I always give a warning shout (NO! or STOP!) to the charging dog, thinking if I run into that particular dog again, I can just give a warning and they'll know what's coming. Heh.

Answer:	my dog is reactive when a loose dog approaches her because she's been attacked twice by loose dogs, and yes, it definitely has kept dogs away. You don't even have to actually spray the dog - i just spray the air at the dog and they hate the smell and run away. i think it works great and carry it on all our dog walks.

Answer:	These may work, but if his fur is course, it will probably snag. These clippers snagged on the coats of my pit/lab mix and my rott/pit mix. Answer:	I don't know much about the Urine Destroyer. But, I CAN tell you that this product (No More Marking), did not work at all with my male dog. The product has a strong odor that is not very pleasant. And as I mentioned, it didn't work the way it's supposed to work.

Answer:	The instructions on the product indicate it can be used for paws and tails. I personally used it on my own hands and didnt get any irritation. I didnt have any good results with this product, but each dog is different it might work on yours.

Cats are extremely sensitive to essential oils, smell alone can be toxic, plus your cat licks itself to groom, so it would ingest the product which could be fatal, also possible skin irritation. It’s most likely you would make your cat very ill at the very least. For now give your cat safe places to go away from the dog & always keep your puppy blocked off to specific areas or constantly supervised. Also, I leave pretty early for work and by the time he's up and in the mood to chew, I think the effects maybe aren't as strong. I can say, when you spray it, it lingers in the air a bit. I'd wear a mask or turn away; I managed to get the taste of it in my mouth just from breathing it in and it's horrid.

Answer:	I used this with my seven dogs without any challenges in terms of impacts to their health. Did it work? Not really. I have used natural products that have been much more effective. I would look online for natural remedies before paying for a product that is not that effective.

Answer:	If they make one for deer, then there must be a different ingredient in it to repel deer ? But if a deer sniffs around like a dog, and gets a whiff of the dog repellent, I would think it would not be pleasant for the deer and maybe could work to repel the deer. After all, a deer could be compared to a large dog like a great dane or st bernard ? I'd give it a try, just make sure area does not get wet from rain or sprinklers, it can dilute it and wash it into dirt, making product less effective or useless.
Question:	I don't mind friends who visit to bring their dogs over, I just don't want their dogs crapping. Will this prevent dogs from even hanging out on lawn
Answer:	The only way to "prevent" dogs from doing their business on your lawn is to have a fence to keep them out. That said, I don't have a fence on the front of my property, and I use this product as an an animal deterrent. I use it in the spots where dog/cats have gone and it keeps them away. Keep in mind that a treatment won't last forever and it is degraded by the weather (rain/snow), so you have to determine when to reapply it. Hopefully, they will find another place to do their business but there's no guarantee, unless they are physically prevented from accessing your lawn. I hope this helps you out.
