Answer:	I asked my vet. She said no residual damage—but I think it’s more like hearing a weird STARTLING sound. It startled my dog and all of a sudden she stopped barking and looked at me. Answer:	Unfortunately, I have already discarded the packaging that the nippers came in. I looked, carefully, on the item for the country of origin and I'm unable to see any indication of the country of origin. Two things about the product that really do not affect their purpose: The lock which is supposed to hold the handles in a closed (safe) position is plastic and about the thickness of the average toothpick; works once. The nail file included in the handle is a nice touch, but it doesn't perform satisfactorily on any nail type, including your own. Short answer: I'm not sure. Sorry.

Question:	Does this have to be pointed directly at the area of the barking
Answer:	The device does not need to be pointed directly at the area but would be most effective if pointed in the general direction.
Question:	What do the red light mean
Answer:	Two color led indicators show good or low battery. Good battery equals 1 flash every 5 seconds with a green led. Low battery shows 3 flashes every 5 seconds with the red led. No lights indicates it is time to change the battery. When the device is emitting the ultrasonic sound, the red led is solid. When in test mode, the red led will flash if the battery is low.
Question:	Will my dog still bark at danger
Answer:	Yes, they just bark less for other reasons it doesn't stop them from barking it helps them to control their barking.
Question:	Will other sounds set it off? We're thinking of putting this near the dog's crate in the kitchen, but I'm afraid the dishwasher will set it off
