Answer:	Yes. My dog does not have short hair, but she does not have long hair like a collie. It works great. There are 2 types of collar prongs included in the package. One for a dog with short hair and the other for long hair. I use the one for the long hair. No issues. The prongs have a dull point and once the collar is on the prongs will go through the fur.

Each transmitter unit puts out a circular boundary signal; if you use multiple transmitters and place them in a way that their circular signals overlap once another, the collar or collars would be able to pass in between the boundary areas without activating, effectively making them into one larger boundary. Question:	Can you put a 3rd collar on it if you bought the one that came with 2 collars
Answer:	Thanks for your question! Much of this would depend on where the car port would be in relation to the spot where the transmitter is installed and the containment area. If you were to set the transmitter in a spot where the car port was directly between it and the containment area, it would very likely block the signal in that direction and could cause reduced range or inconsistent receiver collar activation. If the car port would not be directly between the two, however, and the transmitter itself was kept at least 5-10' away from the car port, it would likely not cause an issue unless the receiver collar came right up next to the metal of the car port, which could cause it to activate.
Question:	Why is there not a fence collar and bark controller collar built in one
Answer:	Good question! Yes, this receiver collar is fully cross-compatible with all current PetSafe Wireless Containment systems including the PIF-300, Stay + Play Wireless Fence, and Free to Roam Wireless Fence.

How It Works

The Stay+Play Wireless Fence creates a circular boundary for your pet to be contained from 22 to 105-feet in all directions (up to 210 feet across). The Boundary is adjustable with a turn of the dial.

Set the Transmitter in the center of your pet’s play area and plug the Transmitter into an indoor electrical outlet close to the area where you wish to contain your pet outdoors. You temporarily define the Pet Area with Boundary Flags for a visual aid in training your pet. The Transmitter sends a constant radio signal in the Pet Area.

Your pet receives a warning tone from the lightweight, waterproof collar as he approaches the Boundary Zone. I went from my dog jumping my 6ft fence to sticking by the house because of this line. The key is don't allow the dogs see you install the line and follow the directions exactly. Due to the nature of our dogs, they will challenge the line at first. If you follow the directions, the challenge and curiosity will be "zapped" right out of them. I NEVER chase my dog around the neighborhood anymore! This is a fantastic buy.

Answer:	I recommend not using the collar that comes with the unit, the manufacturer puts large attachment holes in a narrow collar (3/4 inch). Buy a 1 inch collar and put your own holes in. Question:	How much wire will I need to get for about 2 acres of property
Answer:	Yes,this fence unite comes with about 8 or 9 long round rods . The rods are about one quarter of an inch thick, and about 28 to 34 inches long. The rods are used as pins to hold the sections of fence together. The rods are long enough that the extra can be pushed into the ground and makes for a very strong , stable fenced enclosure. It really is a cool set up. I own five of these fencing units. You will not be disappointed if you buy this product. Hope this helps, Kris

Answer:	Each panel, including the door panel is 30 inches wide. The height varies depending on which set you buy. They have 24 ,30 and 40 inch heights.
