Answer:	Yes. My dog does not have short hair, but she does not have long hair like a collie. It works great. There are 2 types of collar prongs included in the package. One for a dog with short hair and the other for long hair. I use the one for the long hair. No issues. The prongs have a dull point and once the collar is on the prongs will go through the fur.

Answer:	I am not sure but we have a 107lb dog and a medium sized dog maybe 40 to 45lbs. They both have the same collar buy you can turn them up or down on the control switch.

Answer:	Yes you can, with a disclaimer; On cat collars for electric pet fences, typically the collar strap will have about a 1" section (at least) where a stretchy elastic is used. This is because our feline friends tend to stick their heads into places to see what's going on. If they pull back out and the collar strap gets caught on something, they tend to continue pulling. The stretchy section allows a break away, so the collar won't be choking them as they pull. We do not carry these types of replacement straps, so that would be up to you if you wanted to change out the strap. As far as the size of the receiver -It isn't going to be bulky on a 10 lb putty tat. The correction should not be overwhelming unless he's got a timid/skittish personality. Answer:	There is only one transmitter for this fence. There are 2 available collar receivers (the standard for dogs 15 lbs and up, and the stubborn dog for dogs that are muscling through the standard collar). If you want a fence system that will accommodate the 10 pound dogs and the large dog, you may want to consider the eXtreme Dog Fence Pro Grade fence here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071L1V71B That system's native collar has 7 different correction levels that are set individually, per each dog's needs. Question:	i've got 2 collars, (older ones) fr-200b & fr-200a, will they work with this system? i had them with a sd-800 system, but transmitter went bad
Answer:	If they're both pups, then maybe?? I'm not sure what size a husky puppy is. We have a 20-pound dog who grew up using this pad when necessary. He's full-grown now (at 20 pounds), and uses it very neatly, maybe once a day. (When we're gone for a full day of work.) Using it once/day with his size means we clean it about once every 5-7 days. So if your husky is under 20 pounds, I'd say it'd be okay as long as you have a chance to rinse it out when needed.

Answer:	You can order them on line or your local pet store. I find those to be expensive. I go to Lowe’s or HomeDepot and buy artificial grass by the yard

Answer:	I did not notice a red mark on mine, and I installed mine in a way that allowed the wire point toward the rear. I don't believe it's segmented and calibrated for individual strings, it's a single piece designed to pick up ALL frequencies simultaneously. It works beautifully on my 3D printed violin.
Question:	How do you get the vibration only mode to work? I don't need to use stimulation, only the vibration for a deaf dog. Thank you
Answer:	Mine has a thin black rubber pad (harder than foam) on the bottom of the round microphone, and I have not experienced distortion. I find the best fidelity by clipping it in the bottom F sound hole (one nearest the E string) and in the end of the hole nearest the tail piece.

Question:	Can you buy just the collar? I purchased several years ago and cut the collar to short
Answer:	The collar has an attached rechargeable battery. The wall charger charges both the remote and the collar at the same time. Just remember to re pair the collar and remote after each charge by simply touching the red dot on the collar to the red dot on the remote. The collar holds a charge for days at a time and blinks red when it needs to be charged.
Question:	I’m debating whether to get the 100 yard vs the new 300 yard trainer which is $50 dollars more. Do you feel the 100 yards is enough for off leash
Answer:	It has a lot of halls on it. So it will fit your shi-tzu. You will have to cut the collar a little bit, because it will be too long. It fits for big and small dogs. I am very happy I got it for my dog. She is listening to me now even if she doesn't wear it. And she was the most destructive animal ever :-)
Question:	I got the yt-100. i’ve had the 400 models for years and battery life was really good. this one dies after a day when used a few times. is this normal
Answer:	No need... it will fit. And you can get replacement straps for cheap on eBay.
Question:	Is this a medical type e-stim collar or an electrical shock collar
Answer:	Honestly, I am not sure! Our Weim is now 10 mo old and about 75lbs and works just fine. But sounds like your dog is/will be much larger than Mr. Wilson. We use it set at 40 and it goes to 100. There is plenty of collar length left, so not sure how they determine what size dog its appropriate for.
