Question:	Should I get a 24in or a 30in for a toy poodle
Answer:	Our toy poodle never even tried to jump this size fence in our yard during his 16 year life. We’ve used a few of them to keep both our 6-7 pound Toy poodle and our 12 pound terrier-poodle rescue out of certain sections of our yard, and even with long fast runs up to these 24” high barriers, neither ever made it over, but I suspect after one or two attempts at standing on their hind legs to lean on these metal contraptions was enough to teach them the fencing is just plain scary. Our mix pup does a hilarious hind leg walk along the edge now without touching the fencing. The nice part for us is the ease of stepping over them without using/needing a gate.

I.think they would fly up to the trees, then realize they were out.

I wash it after my dog eats and keep it dry until next feeding. the water is changed multiple times a day and I use a soft bristle brush to keep build up from forming. I use the same brush to scrub the wood and stand at least weekly then I put it outside to sun dry (I live in TX) I have no warps, stains, cracks in fact no damage after 4 months. I have an 86 lb cane corso and he is a bruit on his bowls (this is the 3rd food bowl) but he has not managed to ruin this one.

Question:	I would be so grateful if anyone can recommend the best invisible fence that would work for very fast and athletic dogs
Answer:	This fence is great for mine. I have a pitbull/bird dog mix and she is very fast and athletic. We run 4-5 miles a day and she is still wound up. Mine is 1 year old and this keeps her contained. I have to change the battery in the collar about once a month or so, but this works well. I have the collar set on setting four and five is too high. She even can go out in the yard with out the collar and won't leave for a few days until she notices she can get out. This is a great product. We have had it for about five or six months and so far are very happy with it.
Question:	Do i have to bury the wire or can I run it along the bottom wire of my fence and get the same results .. and if I can how deep or how high can I go
Answer:	Thanks for your question, Brandon! The wire does not necessarily need to be buried; it will work just as well above-ground. However, if the fence you are running it along is metal or has metal components, these could possibly interfere with the signal that the wire sends out. If this is the case, the wire may need to be kept at least 5' away from the metal of the fence in order to function properly.As to the maximum depth and height, we recommend the wire be buried no deeper than around 6-8" and the height would depend on how high you set the boundary width dial on the transmitter unit. The maximum distance that the signal can be sent varies depending on environmental factors, but typically can go up to 8-12'. Answer:	I've got the control box in my garage. I have the twisted line that is setup to run out of my garage to the perimeter loop which is single strand. As stated, the part that is twisted allows the dog to run over that area and not get corrected. This way my dog can run around my entire house. If you are doing a large run of 47 acres I would definitely upgrade wire. I think I used 14 gauge. The stuff that comes with this kit is very light duty. This fence is one of the best things we ever did for our pup. It's so nice to just let her out and not have to worry about her ever leaving the yard.

Answer:	It will surround 100 entire acres. The circumference of an acre is 960 feet. The system comes with 1000' of wire which is enough to enclose an acre, if you want to enclose more you will need to purchase more wire. The system can accomodate 9600' of wire from what i understand.

1. This system utilizes a radio frequency (RF) signal, similar to your cell phone or WiFi router. And just like your phone, there may be spots around your house and yard where the RF signal is either weak or dead. This is usually because there is a barrier (like a wall or terrain feature) between the transmitter and receiver collar. As much as possible, try to have a direct line-of-sight between the transmitter and the collar. We strongly encourage you to test the signal strength around your house and yard before placing the receiver collar on your pet.
   1. Make sure the transmitter is powered on, then attach the test light to the metal probes on the collar.
   2. Walk around your house and yard with the receiver collar. If the collar loses contact with the transmitter at any point (dead spot), it will activate by beeping, then shocking. When it shocks, the test light will light up.
   3. If you have any dead spots, try relocating the transmitter, or turning up the boundary range. Turning up the range will increase the strength of the signal transmission.
   4. Resolve any dead spots before putting the collar on your dog! We don’t want the puppy shocked while they’re still inside the boundary.

Leave the transmitter plugged in unless you’re using it remotely in training mode. If the transmitter is unplugged and the battery dies, it will lose contact with the receiver collar. If the collar loses contact, it will think it is outside the boundary and will enter working mode.

I usually leave it on collar number 1 as this pup needs the most training. I rescued a lab pup from the highway traffic, and with the help of this trainer, she is transforming from her separation anxiety from being dumped to an amazing dog. I can't imagine what she went through before I picked her up as she was frantic. It has been 5 months now and she is well trained now and responds to verbal commands without having to use the correction.
