Answer:	Hi there John, the large white unit is the transmitter. The wires in the ground connects to this and it controls the signal. The smaller unit is a lightening protector that reduces the risk of power surges.

Answer:	Hi there, for 2 acres of property you will need a minimum of 1,200 feet of wire. It will probably be best to have a total of 3 spools of wire (500 ft. each) so that you don't run out as the layout may call for extra.

Answer:	This system includes 500 feet of 20 gauge wire. However, I did a good deal of research before purchasing this system and I found that this is was not going to be enough for my yard and more importantly, this 20 gauge is a very light weight wire and many people had to replace it after just two years. As a result, I did use this system, but I did not use the cheap wire that came with it. I, instead, went to FlexPetz.com and used their "Heavy Duty 16-Gauge Dog Fence Wire (1000 ft)". The SKU number was HD-16AWG-1000. It cost me $117.95 and the shipping was free. They also have a good selection of various lengths if you do not need 1000 feet. I finished installing my fence myself two weeks ago and it is working great. I have no complaints and I feel confident knowing that I will not need to replace the wire anytime soon.

Answer:	We stretch it over the top of a 5 gallon bucket under the metal strainer which is under the honey gate in the extractor. When all the honey has drained through, we pull up the cloth filter, give it a little squeeze, and then wash it for next time. It's a good filter.

Answer:	Dear B.K., I checked online and couldn't find what the material is. I do know that Little Giant has been in the beekeeping business for over seven decades, so they're serious folks. The bag seems to me, on hand inspection, to be some sort of nylon-like material. It is very light, very soft and flexible, filters quite well, and as I said in a previous reply to another questioner, it cleans up very well if you simply hang it outside and let your bees clean it up, which they will with relish ( anthropomorphically speaking). I have only used it once as last year was the first year I was able to harvest, but it worked like a charm, and I am quite satisfied with it. It is washable, but I wouldn't simply because I wouldn't want the fine mesh to hold any detergent residue, however minute. One could, I imagine, simply soak it in hot water and rinse it thoroughly, which is what I did. All in all, a good product, I'd say. Hope this helps.
Question:	The wire broke right when we were running it what is the biggest guage we can use
Answer:	I use the mesh bag to drain honey from the wax cappings that I cut off the frames prior to extracting. It does a great job. When I'm finished extracting I'll dump all of my wax cappings into the bag and suspend it over a bucket for a week or so to catch every last drop of honey I can. When the cappings have finished draining I'll then dump the cappings into a tray or a large box and put them out in front of the hive for the bees to clean up. I do the same for the mesh bag and within 48 hours the cappings are licked dry and ready for my solar wax melter. The mesh bag is honey-free and just needs to be rinsed in cold water and dried before I fold it up for storage. Good luck!You asked about using a double strainer. I use a double strainer to filter my raw honey as it flows from the extractor into a large 5 gallon bucket.

Answer:	Mine and many others (read reviews) at times go off randomly no where near the perimeter. My dog has been shocked as far as 30 feet from the boundary. It has happened enough that my dog is now scared to go into the yard at all. Customer service was no help at all. Save your money and buy a better brand. When the unit is working like it should, the distance can be set by a dial on the transmitter, anywhere from about 1 foot to 6 feet.

The fence transmitter is the brain of your eXtreme Dog Fence. You not only set your signal field width here (which is the distance from the wire that the collar will activate), but you also program your collar's correction level here.

You can also change AM radio frequencies here, if you have a neighboring fence system that is causing interference with your fence.

The transmitter should be mounted indoors, so as to avoid any moisture getting into the electronics, and at least 3' away from any large metal objects.

Waterproof "Active" Collar

Question:	If I place it on one end of my house, will it work through the brick wall? Will the wall block the signal and leave an area unprotected
Answer:	I am using mine with an Hayward Xstream filter, but we are currently using one of these pumps with an EC40 D.E. filter for my mom's pool. It works pretty good with the EC40, it is probably a better fit for the EC50, but you still get really good flow running it with the EC40
Question:	Is the invisible border circular
Answer:	It should be turned till the discharge is completely horizontal
Question:	My front yard is only 16-17m from my house. Can I reduce range to that radius
Answer:	Intex uses proprietary connections, won't work with standard plumbing connections. If you replace the hose with PVC or flex pipe, you can find standard threaded connectors to go on the large intex inlet/outlets that go through the wall of the pool. Get a ball valve or similar to replace the plunger valve that came with the pool and avoid the intex hose altogether. Then you can use standard plumbing fittings for the pump. Or, make an adapter for the intex hose - there isn't anything ready made you can buy. Look on youtube or elsewhere online for directions for replumbing an intex pool.
Question:	Is the travel range adjustable
Answer:	The Hayward SP15922S pump is a 2 speed pump. People that say otherwise must be talking about some other pump. I have one. It has low and high speed. 86 gpm on high and 43 gpm on low at 20 feet of head.

Answer:	I have added more wire. I needed to contain a 2 acre area, and ordered another roll of the wire, same gauge as came with unit. I ordered splicing capsules as well, twisted the extensions and sealed the capsules with poly sealant from a tube. Was very simple.

Answer:	Yes. There are three buttons on the remote trainer. You have to push the button for whatever collar you want to activate first before activating the correction. I usually leave it on collar number 1 as this pup needs the most training. I rescued a lab pup from the highway traffic, and with the help of this trainer, she is transforming from her separation anxiety from being dumped to an amazing dog. I can't imagine what she went through before I picked her up as she was frantic. It has been 5 months now and she is well trained now and responds to verbal commands without having to use the correction.

Answer:	I bought some cheap tubing from HD and ran the wire through the tubing and over the driveway. I think the tubing was for irrigation and would be found near the sprinkler heads at HD. It worked for years.

Question:	Can you connect to receivers for larger boundarie
Answer:	Yes, it's easy. If you place two units the perimeter will be the shape of a figure 8. Moving them closer together changes the shape to a 0. The area inside is free range. Three can make the shape of a three petaled flower or a long potato. Four makes more of a square. An issue to consider is interference caused by buildings and such. You just need electricity and protection from weather.
Question:	how to set up the fence
Answer:	Hmmm, this is a whacky system of Q&A, as I see nothing relating to the product in question onscreen. I can only assume that it's for the petsafe wireless fencing system, because I reviewed it a long time ago. In which case, I'd recommend searching youtube "how to set up petsafe wireless fencing system" or something along those lines. That is what I did, and found not only that but also visuals on how to train the animal to it....and, just to add to my last review a year ago, thank you, Petsafe, for continually providing some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced.
Question:	Can the range of the system be reduced to something less than the 90 feet? We want to use in our RV so area for containment would need to be smaller
Answer:	Yes it can be reduced to a very small area. The PetSafe company has a video online that explains it very well and how to test the exact distance you have set by changing the dial on the transmitter. Some friends of mine take it camping ( when an electric outlet is available) to contain their dog within their campsite. Main thing to remember that the broadcast area is round. Also follow instructions on training your pet to understand the system which is also on the afforementioned PetSafe video.Hope that helps.

Answer:	If you have Internet through a cable company, it is possible for it to mess with your modem (not the wifi but the actual cable signal coming into the modem that gives you internet). It's really close to the upstream frequencies and could potentially cause problems
