10 best toys for labs
Toys for labs, particularly chew toys, play a crucial role in keeping dogs entertained, mentally stimulated, and promoting dental health. Labs are known for their playful and energetic nature, so providing them with suitable toys is essential. Here are some types of toys that are commonly recommended for labs:
Chew Toys:
- Labs are notorious chewers, especially when they are puppies. Durable chew toys made of rubber, nylon, or hard plastic can help satisfy their chewing instincts and prevent destructive behavior.
Interactive Toys:
- Labs are intelligent dogs and benefit from toys that challenge their minds. Interactive toys, such as puzzle feeders or treat-dispensing toys, engage their problem-solving skills and keep them mentally stimulated.
Fetch Toys:
- Labs love to retrieve, so fetch toys like balls or frisbees are excellent choices. Look for durable, non-toxic materials that can withstand rough play.
Plush Toys:
- Soft and cuddly plush toys can provide comfort to labs. However, make sure they are sturdy and do not contain small parts that could be easily chewed off and swallowed.
Tug Toys:
- Tug-of-war is a favorite game for many labs. Tug toys made of strong materials with appropriate handles provide a great outlet for their energy and strength.
Water Toys:
- Labs are often water-loving dogs, so water toys can be a fantastic addition for playtime, especially during hot weather. Floating toys or toys that can be used in the water add an extra layer of fun.
Teething Toys:
- For lab puppies, teething can be a challenging phase. Soft rubber or frozen teething toys can help soothe their gums and provide relief during this period.
Squeaky Toys:
- Labs are often intrigued by squeaky sounds. Squeaky toys can be entertaining and provide auditory stimulation for your dog.
Tough and Indestructible Toys:
- Labs are strong chewers, so investing in toys labeled as tough or indestructible is a good idea. These toys are designed to withstand the rigors of enthusiastic chewing.
Size Consideration:
- Ensure that the toys are an appropriate size for your lab. Avoid toys that could pose a choking hazard or be too small for your dog to play with safely.
Regularly inspecting toys for wear and tear is important, as damaged toys can pose health risks. Always choose toys made from safe, non-toxic materials to ensure the well-being of your lab.

She met Stefan working off-off Broadway, where she directed a series of one-act plays he had written. They went on to form the production company Cicala Filmworks, where their initial focus was creating short documentaries for clients such as the Guggenheim Museum, the NYC Department of Education, and Roundabout Theatre. As the company grew, she also produced and directed numerous music videos and commercials for clients such as Ben Folds Five, 1-800 Flowers, Virgin Records and 97.9 La Mega. The film will be broadcast nationally via FreeSpeechTV in 2007. In April-May 2007 he was on location in Iceland, where THE HIGHER FORCE, a feature he co-wrote, co-produced and acted in, was helmed by Olaf Johannesson. Answer: | Hi and thank you for your inquiry! This coat will fit a child up to about 60 lbs. I hope this is helpful! |
Question: | What a cute set! What is the fabric content on the coat? thanks |

Question: | Would this fit a 11 year old girl |
Answer: | no...it's just pulled tight because the zipper is all the way up..no drawstring..so if your child does not like it zipped all the way up..the hood might not stay up....i liked the look of the jacket..I just did not like that feature... |
Question: | I'm looking for a real child-sized lab coat, not a costume. will this resist chemical splashes |

User questions & answers
Question: | Why do you not indicate this bone is made in china |
Answer: | Here’s the thing: people need to stop generalizing toy to the dogs Weight and size only. That is an inefficient way to calculate if a toy will hold up. For example, I bought my dog a medium toy. He is a 15 pound dachshund, and has nearly destroyed it in one week. Plus these toys can fracture teeth I guess . If your dog is like mine and has hunters teeth, I would go for nothing less than one of those big donut shaped toys, get the Maxx 50z they’re like 33 bucks, but they actually work... |
Question: | Can a dog swallow this whole? We have 3 Golden Retrievers, and was wondering |
Answer: | Thank you for your question. This bone is designed in USA and manufactured in our ISO certified partner's facility in China. Made with 100% non-toxic polymer nylon. |
Question: | How big of a dog would this bone be good for |
Answer: | No,it doesn't take anymore time to rice them than to beat them with a mixer. Pop them in the microwave if you need them hotter. |
Question: | The question has been asked multiple times but no one seems to really answer the question. Where is this bone made |
Answer: | It is about 3.5" |
