For your animal's safety, if your dog chews hard, this will eventually have small pieces break off, causing an ingestion hazard. I don 't know if a dog would just pass these pieces or if they would partially digest the pieces and make them sick. It says the material is not for ingestion. I switched to elk antlers. A little more expensive. but they keep my dog busy for long periods, they're not messy, and are as safe for them as a soup bone. The large antlers (you'd only need one) last the best. I got one for my dog two weeks ago, and she's chewing it right now. She's a 50 pound aggressive chewer, as the ads for chew toys say. I hope this helps. Good Luck! |

| Answer: | The difference is the ingredients. This contains the following oils: lemon grass, clove, eucalyptus, and peppermint. Be aware however that these oils can be toxic if ingested, so only use where your pet cannot lick. It does work great. |
