We play tug with them with our little terrier, none of our dogs chew on toys so that could be an issue. If your dog chews toys, you should get Kong type toys.

Answer:	Go medium. We have three of these (love them) that are large and they are a real mouthful for our 95 pound lab/mastiff.
Question:	Jive zogoflex durable dog ball chew , is it too big 4 a 8 lb. yorkie
Answer:	We bought this 2" ball for a 20 lb. Corgi and it is perfect. I just don't know how it would work for a small Yorkie. You could write to West Paw. I'm sure they could tell you. Their dog toys are great!
