The first ones were the plastic cones, mimicking the high ruffled style of women's collars back in Queen Elizabeth's time. Google to find a picture of Elizabeth, and you can see the similarity. I truly doubt they used this kind of recovery collar on dogs back in the mid-seventeenth century, since they weren't invented until the 1960s.

Answer:	I just tried the NON insulated 27oz. And 64oz. Klean Kanteen Classic bottles and they do NOT fit inside the 16 can size while standing up, with the loop cap. I'm almost certain it would fit perfectly with a flat cap like the bamboo one. The lid stays about half an inch open with my kanteens.

Answer:	I know this is far after the fact, but when I have any problem with tears, leaks, rips or cracks I use E-6000 glue for the repair. I use it on everything.... Work boots and even on patches for my husband's work jeans. It holds up in the wash, dryer and even winter weather when I use it on outside repairs.

Answer:	This is not a good cooler. The strap ripped off the original cooler purchased, causing to hit the ground & crack - making it no longer waterproof. The mfg was kind enough to replace it when I complained - 2nd cooler, the corner of the liner has again cracked off with the 1st use. The hard plastic liner cannot endure any usage & the shoulder strap cannot carry any weight. I give this cooler an "F" & was so excited by many of the features described. This is not worth the money - go for the Yeti or any other cooler would be my advice

Answer:	You purchased the correct size based on the information on the box - if you look at the large on Amazon you can see the side of the box. The collar is NOT supposed to be tight. You thread your dog's existing collar through the loops on the inside. It will move around but as long as it doesn't slip off over your dog's head it fits.
Question:	Can I use 1 control for 2 similarly sized dogs such that only the dog needing the correction receives the stimulation

Answer:	I think the depth depends on the size collar you buying which goes by neck size. The XL one I bought was 12 inches deep but is for neck sizes 18-23 inches.

Answer:	Yes!!! My cat had a horrible burn on his tummy and was unable to get to any of it. Just make sure to keep an eye on the inflation level. Don't over or under inflate. And remember cats are smart, they will figure out how to get it off, but then suffer through your putting it back on and wear it a while before trying another escape.

Question:	How wide is the cone
Answer:	Yes! My dog is around 25 lbs and I cut about 10 inches off of the adjustable collar-almost enough to make another collar. I have only had to use the correction levels up to 26, so there are plenty of levels higher for those bigger or more stubborn dogs. I've been working with a dog trainer to help me give the correction at the right time and used a leash for the first 3 weeks. Using the leash helped me guide my dog into the preferred behavior immediately after the correction so she was not confused as to why she was just corrected. It has completely transformed my dog's behavior and I'm very pleased with the product. If this is your fist electronic collar please make sure you get some tips or work with a trainer. If you do not guide your dog into the behavior you want you will get a very anxious dog afraid to move or do anything. That was my only complaint with this product-in needed some tips for newbies like me. You will love your "new" dog!
Question:	Does this inflatable collar work for dogs who are being neutered? My adolescent pup is 72 lbs
Answer:	Yes, although described as a "mini" this e-collar will work for most dogs if used correctly. You might need to shave a small patch for the collar to make contact. If you haven't done so, please watch the leerburg videos on using the e-collar, particularly the one by Micheal Ellis. The dog needs to learn behavior that stops the stimulation. If introduced correctly, i.e., the dog learns that he has control of the stimulation, the e-collar works for most dogs. I have used this collar on several large dogs including several Golden Retrievers and Labradors with success.Peace and Be WellJack
Question:	I'm going to take my dog to teeth extraction, is this cone okay for it? can they reach and paw at their mouth
Answer:	The answer to that depends specifically on your dog and the training you've done.I have a scent/sight hound and I would never trust him without any tools. He can tell when he has on a shock collar vs a buckle collar vs a choke chain vs a martingale collar. He listens perfectly off leash with this ecollar (I only have to use the vibrate function to remind him sometimes) but I know that if I put him out with a different style of collar and no leash that he would not listen nearly as well (and he might run off into a potentially dangerous situation).
Question:	What is the Diameter (width) of the cone?, (measured from one side of the neck to the same outside edge of the cone
Answer:	They are mashine washable. You can also just use a mild soap and water mixture and hand clean it.
