Answer:	I have purchased this cast iron teapot that is made in JAPAN almost two years ago. It is not lined. I do not allow any liquid to stay in the pot for more than two days. When not in use I do dry it...and put it on the gas stove to insure it is fully dried. I brew my loose tea leaves in the infuser and then pour the hot water over, close the lid and let it brew. I do not boil my tea leaves with the water. I am very satisfied with the tea pot and the price. i do not recommend purchasing any cast iron pot from any other country.(hint)

How to use the FURminator deShedding tool

Use the tool 1-2 times a week for 10-20 minutes on a dry coat. Before using the deShedding Tool, remove knots and tangles with the FURminator Adjustable Dematter Tool or Grooming Rake. Use the tool like a brush and gently drive in the direction of growth through the coat of your pet.

The stainless steel tines should be inclined towards the coat. Start from the head of your pet and work your way backwards, being careful in sensitive areas such as the abdomen. The undercoat that is picked up by the blade can be easily removed from the tool with the handy push button.

Answer:	There are 5 colors pertaining to the size of the dog and each size has a long hair and a short hair model. Red is Giant size for very large dogs over 90lbs. I use this for my Rottweiler, The Yellow is the large size for dogs between 50 to 90lbs. My daughter uses this size for her Basset Hounds. The Orange is the Medium size for dogs between 21 to 50lbs. The Green is the small size for dogs up to 20lbs and the light pastel green is for Toy size dogs. The long hair model has a grey fur release button on top and the short hair model has a blue fur release button on top. Note, I use the long hair giant model for my Rottweiler and it works great. Good luck, you won't regret purchasing one. And, definitely purchase at Amazon. First, you can trust the seller and second, the retail shops all charge over $50 and higher for the same product.

Answer:	I have a basic stainless steel grooming comb, one end being larger than the other (you can find them here). The smaller comb side clears the brush side, whereas the larger spaced end cleans the wire side.

Answer:	From what I saw on the AKC site the Anatolian Shepherd has a similar coat length to the short hair St Bernard (which is what I have). I purchased the short hair and would recommend the same.

Answer:	As a pro dog groomer, I use this stuff every day of my life! I buy it by the gallon, it's my best product so I use every bit of it....however, once I lost a bottle, so I know the answer is it lasts YEARS. Ages ago, I had bought a small bottle here locally, for back-up, when I wasn't sure of my supply schedule. Then, packing up to move my salon to a bigger space, I recently found it, and poured it into my gallon jug, still good as new! The purchase was approx 3-4 years ago. It had settled and separated slightly, but two shakes put it all back to right...I trust this stuff completely. But, they can keep their deshedding brushes. I wouldn't even give those away for free.

Answer:	According to the directions on the bottle, the ratio is 5 parts water to 1 part conditioner. It is thick because it has to cling to the dog's hair for at least 5 minutes. You need to massage it into the hair really good so it will reach the undercoat, then wait 5 to 10 minutes.

FURminator(R) deShedding Tool for Dogs

Dogs always have and always will shed. Dog owners will be in this never ending battle as long as dogs live indoors. Most dog owners will tell you that vacuuming is simply not enough. Large dogs can mean large amounts of loose hair throughout your home.

The Giant Long Hair Dog FURminator(R) deShedding tool is specifically designed for dogs from over 90 lbs. and with coats longer than 2 inches. The FURejector(R) button cleans and removes loose hair from the tool with ease.

Step 1:

1. For best results, we recommend deShedding your pet immediately after washing and drying. Use only on a completely dry coat. Our extensive line of FURminator(R) deShedding products are designed to promote healthy skin and coat and reduce loose hair from excess shedding.

Step 2:

2. Before using the deShedding tool, perform a complete physical inspection of your pet. Remove tangles or mats with a FURminator(R) Slicker Brush or Finishing Comb before using the deShedding tool. Look for sores, bruises and skin conditions, which may be concealed by his coat. If your pet has any of these conditions, seek treatment from a veterinarian before brushing.

Step 3:

3. Use the deShedding tool much like a brush and gently stroke across the pet’s coat in the direction of hair growth, angling the stainless steel teeth of the deShedding edge toward the coat. Start from the head and work your way back, using extra care near the pet’s stomach, legs, genitals and anus. Avoid making excessive strokes in a single area, instead using long, gentle strokes up and away from your pet’s skin. Deep or rough brushing can cause your pet’s skin to become red and irritated, so do not apply too much weight or downward pressure. If you notice any redness or irritation, discontinue use.
