Answer:	I didn't do a cone. I used a hair dryer. The smell does go away. I cracked windows and ran bathroom vents and stove vent and house unit all at the same time. It lingered on the blankets but I didn't care because if they needed treating I figured it serving a purpose. It washed out too and I did extra rinse cycle. Also, I was confused about bathing from other posts I read so I first applied without bathing all over(needed). 2nd time I did bath and she was already better, so I put in hairdye bottle from Sally's thin long nozzle and squirt and used a dollar tree facial brush and spot treated(last step) and brushed it in wet to penetrate. Then dried with dryer. That cut back on overall smell. In fact if you do more frequent you could probably even rinse. I am now doing mist spray bottle close to skin(outside on porch) and not soaking her anymore. I dust her with diamatoneous earth too in between. It soaks up oils, odors and helps with sweat if you think yeast is also issue or mites.

Answer:	I use topical flea stuff and then this sulfur dip. But I dilute this dip cause its smell is potent, and only use it once a week for my dog.

Answer:	I was treating a smaller area so the concentration of 4 oz in 1 gallon was too much for what I was using it for. Since there are 128 oz in 1 gallon I put 1 oz of the lime sulfur in 32 oz to give me 4 treatments basically. I disposed of what we didn't use but we used most of it.

Question:	Anyone else notice that recent capsules/powder have unpleasant smell

Ordered 2 bottles back in Jan. 2017 (both with EXP date on Jan 2020), one bottle was ok but the secomd one had a very strong distinct stale smell right as soon as I opened it; gave it to my cat anyway, less than a week after he developed a bad itchy reaction all over his head to the point I had to take him to the vet where we also compared the Cosequin bottles and the vet agreed that mine had a very bad smell. I've been using Cosequin for about 2 years, pills have a bit of smell but not that strong and aweful smell I experienced last; cannot return it cause, by the time I opened the second bottle 30 days has gone by :-( . Next time, 1 bottle at the time and I won't order from a third party merchant.

Question:	Can this safely be used with begining stage kidney issues
Answer:	I called the company (888-886-6442) because my 16 yr. old cat also has kidney issues and I was told by them that it is fine to given them the Cosequin. Their safety studies have shown no problems. FYI, my cat has shown good improvement with the product.
Question:	Can you break the capsules into the cats food easily
Answer:	I open the capsule and thoroughly dissolve it with 1 teaspoon of water. Then I thoroughly mix it with 1/2 package of Delectables Bisque, Senior 15 years+ for Digestion and Kidney Support (Tuna & Chicken flavor). My 18 year old cat is extremely finicky but she will eat this combination. She leaves the chunky portions of the Bisque and I wonder if she can't lap it on her tongue. Initially I gave her the Bisque and added the Cosequin a week later. That little bugger could smell the Cosequin and refused to eat it. I kept putting it out and I think she liked the Bisque so much that she caved and started eating it with the Cosequin.
