Answer:	I would say yes. I've got a Lab/mix and a Terrier/mix and it works excellent on both of their coats. The Lab/mix has typical Lab short hair and sheds a lot; the brush does an excellent job removing hair that would otherwise end up on my floor. The Terrier/mix has longer hair that must be cut and he loves the feel of the brush. This brush was purchased based on the reviews I read about it and I have not been disappointed.
