Question:	Is this a quiet machine? I have not shaved my kitty before and he is 8, I am afraid he will be too scared if it makes a loud noise when it is on
Answer:	My vet offers cat shaving for long haired cats whose mats need to be cut off. We rescued a half wild cat who won't let us brush or trim claws. The vet tech does a great job once a year on this cat. So yes, some cats do need to be groomed on their undersides. We've used Wahl clippers for many years on our various dogs and always get great results. Other brands aren't as easy to use in my opinion.
Question:	Do these work well on a thick curly coat? My cocker spaniel has been very difficult to groom at home due to clippers not going through his coat
Answer:	I have a Shih Tzu and her hair gets very long. I am also very familiar with the Cocker Spaniel coat as I have owned one as well. Yes it will work fine. Go slow in the direction of the hair, not against the direction. Keep the blades moderately oiled. Also make sure you detangle any possible knots and brush thoroughly before you cut. You will be fine.
Question:	I have a Malti-Po,half Maltise and poodle. I have never done thesis it easy/ would never want to hurt my dog is it easy to learn
Answer:	It's actually really easy. It has different guards on it so you don't get two close at first. As long as you can get your dog to sit still and you go slow you shouldn't have any problems.

Answer:	Yes, this works great on long haired cats. We use it to trim around our cat's rear end, and also his ruff. Excellent to keep the fur trimmed and to deal with mats.

Answer:	It worked on my 109 lb dog, sorry... I don’t know if it could handle 110 lb thou.

It takes three people at the vet's to clip my dog's nails - and it costs $23 each time they take off an eight of an inch....and then the nails are sharp. My dog was freaked out even with this one but with enough string cheese snacks we got through it. I had been able to use clippers on her by myself but it was scary since she has solid black nails and was struggling. I hope the grinding wheel lasts for a good long while. Question:	Initially charged easily. Used twice and when tried to use third time, battery appeared dead would not take a charge. Ideas
Answer:	I've had the same problem with two sets of their clippers. Lithium ion batteries are not this unreliable. These are cheap clippers that lack any form of battery management. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a higher quality set of clippers rather than trying to replace the battery.
Question:	I cannot get the attachment comb off the blade. Any suggestions
Answer:	All I had to do was push up on the attachment. Push up towards the end of blade. Or call the company they are suppose to have phone support.

Answer:	I have used these every other month or so for the last 10 months & only recently found out I had no charge cord because the charge lasted that long! These are excellent clippers & have helped me learn to clip my dog.

Answer:	As long you don't use the spacer attachment, it works great. Just be careful you don't push it to the dogs fur. Just glide it.
Question:	What are the strokes per minute on this? How comparable is it (power wise) to the Wahl U Clip Deluxe? Does battery last long enough for large doodle
Answer:	Sorry, I don't know the answers to your questions. It worked extremely well on two long haired cats. I completed them both in 40 minutes with no battery problems.
Question:	Will it work on my cat's fur knot balls? He's a long haired cat that constantly gets tight to the skin knot balls. He hates being brushed
Answer:	Yes it will. My long hair cat gets those too! The best way to get those off, I've found, is to use it without the comb attachements. I put the dial on 0.8 or 1.4. I get right in there, close to his skin. It doesn't hurt him, and the knots come off. Hope that helps! :)
Question:	will it cut hair for a shih Tzu
Answer:	I am sure it will. I cut my Maine Coon cats hair completely down to a "lion cut" with these. I had no problem with them at all. The noise level was extremely low and the blade was sharp. Answer:	We have golden retriever, works really good, cleans undercoat, thins & trims long hairs Start with 9 sided comb then other side, enjoy

Answer:	I prefer to use a comb with tines much closer together for the daily grooming of my cats and use this tool when mats are present.

Answer:	I have three cats. One is long haired, one is short haired, and one is VERY short haired. For the long-haired cat, this works well. My short-haired cats, it works less well, but did do a decent job at getting some mats out of the standard short haired cat. The very short haired cat, this doesn't do much for, it's more productive just to brush her.
Question:	How does this compare to a furminator
Answer:	The furminator has tines that are really close together. My dogs did not like it because it pulls their thick hair. This product has one side where the teeth are pretty far apart. Use this side first until you get a lot of the loose hair off or until your dog gets used to it. Then turn it over and use the side with the teeth closer together to finish removing the loose hair. My dogs enjoy this product, they would not tolerate the furminator.

Answer:	Yes. Boiling water will kill lice and nits on a brush and comb. I would boil for 10 minutes but less time may be necessary to kill the lice and nits. You do not need to boil overnight. Lice and nits cannot survive in very high temperatures. Research has shown that lice and their eggs can survive freezing temperatures.

Answer:	As human clippers do not work very well on dogs, I would suggest buying the proper clippers Intended for use on humans.

Answer:	I agree with Melissa's suggestion on July 19, 2017. That method has worked for me on my Maltese mix. I also use a product called Cowboy Magic. It's used a lot on horses tails to keep out tangles, but it is amazing on getting out mats! You only use a tiny bit. It may seem oily but it does not stay oily on the pets hair. This stuff is amazing! I can't recommend it enough for tangles, mats, etc!
Question:	How exactly does the "adjustable" blade work. Obviously by the switch, but what is the difference in the settings in terms of cut
Answer:	Hello Michelle, the Wahl adjustable blade sets do adjust to 3 different sizes of cut length by moving the lever on the side of the unit. When the lever is all the way down (toward the black base of the unit) your blade will be at the #10 =1.8mm cut length; when the lever is all the way up (toward the lid of the unit) your blade will be at the #30 =0.8mm cut length. The #15 =1.5mm cut length can be reached when your lever is in between #10 & #30; right in the middle. Depending on your length preference, any of the 3 size variances (#10, #15, & #30) can be used with the attachment combs for longer lengths.
