Answer:	I have bought and taste tested both, SOS has more of a cookie sugar cookie taste and texture, this one is more of a... mixed cookie, this one leaves a thick residue in the top of your mouth. I would recommend the SOS, just because it has a better taste, packaging, and overall seems more durable. Many people including myself have received this product with one of the two packages already opened. Both products have a five year shelf life.

Question:	Is everything gluten free
Answer:	Dried mushrooms must be rehydrated in hot/simmering water before using. If you don’t want the large pieces in your dish, chopping them is the way to go. But honestly, if you’re going to use a mushroom like this or a porcini, you want the pieces big enough that you can appreciate their difference In flavor from a portobello or button. I usually use these and porcini in a mushroom risotto where they are the focus. Very Verona!
Question:	Is there a way to have to fake meat removed
Answer:	Funny you should ask -- up until a couple of months ago, the pieces were about an inch wide. However, the last two months they've been portobello size - 3" - 4" - it's anybody's guess what the next package will bring.

Spicy Black Bean and Potato Stew

• 1 medium red onion, diced
• 1 cup Harmony House Red & Green Bell Pepper Mix
• 2 Tablespoons Harmony House Jalapeno Dices
• 2 Tablespoons flour
• 1 cup vegetable broth
• 3 cups water (or broth)
• 3 cups Harmony House Tomato Dices
• 3 cups Harmony House Diced Potatoes
• 4 cups Harmony House Black Beans, re-hydrated
• 1 Tablespoon chili powder

• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
• ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder
• ¼ teaspoon cumin
• 2 teaspoons sea salt
• 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1. In a large pot add the red onion, red bell pepper, jalapeno peppers, and saute over medium heat for 5 minutes to soften, then add the garlic. Saute over medium heat for 30 seconds.

1. Then sprinkle the flour over the onions, peppers, and garlic and saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the dry seasonings, except for the cocoa powder and cayenne pepper, and saute for 30 seconds.
2. Add the liquids, tomatoes, and potatoes, then increase heat to a boil, stir well to thicken, bring to a low boil.
3. Add the black beans and cocoa powder. Stir well, simmer until the potatoes are tender. Serve hot!

Question:	My dog simply does not like this food. I have tried so many ways to doctor it up. Any suggestions on ways to make it palatable
Answer:	The Turkish Delight is not what I call squishy. It is packed in powdered sugar. This is the Brand that was sold at the BX in Turkey. The only time we had better was when we traveled northward and visited a store that made the Delight fresh.
Question:	What color is this? The first box I bought was oatmeal brown in color. The second was green
Answer:	Made and packaged in Turkey.
Question:	Is this mix really finely ground up? My dog eats Sojo Beef but passes the large vegetable pieces whole. I'm hoping for less texture
Answer:	Yes, it states “Turkish Delight with rose petal” and shows photo of candy with visible bits of rose petal on the box.
Question:	What should the consistency be when mixed? My first time and it came out really soupy. Did I use too much water
Answer:	This product has no nuts. This company does produce versions of Turkish Delight with nuts. The same goes for every Turkish Delight brand.

Question:	I was excited about this food but then i saw it had garlic in it? i thought garlic was poisonous to dogs? maybe i'm wrong. does anyone have any insight
Answer:	Wow. If your dog doesn't like it, then it doesn't like food that's good for it (mostly vegetables). It's like if a kid won't get vegetables, it's hard to "dress it up." If your dog eats kibble, then perhaps prepare a dollop of it and mix it in with the kibble. Perhaps instead of water, make it using chicken broth ... or maybe milk?
Question:	HK recommends up to 2 dry cups/day for my puppy, so a 4lb box would last 4days; but the box says it will last 20-40 days! What am I missing
Answer:	Don't quote me on this, but I think it depends on the ingredients in the mix. If you have any hesitation to feed it, then return the box. I've never had a green mix inside, always oatmeal brown. I think I'd return it.
Question:	What is the salt content of this food please? I'm looking for a low salt diet for my older dog. Thanks
Answer:	Dogs can't digest whole pieces of veggies.. that might be why they're not broken down when they come out. When finely ground, they are able to digest them
