Answer:	It's made for outdoor faucets. So your dog can get water straight from the faucet, not bowl needed. It is not made to use in the house. I suppose if you have a faucet in a barn with a cement floor and drain you could use this, but, not in a house.

Answer:	I didnt look to see - Mainly because I wanted it for our dog, so I had to try it. I will say that it is well made. I have read posts that they leak. I haven't had this issue and have had these for about 9 months now. I have 2 of them. 1 in the front yard, and 1 in the back yard. We have hard water where we live, so about every 3 months, I remove them (along with my shower heads) and soak them overnight in vinegar. I'm guessing that those people who said that this product leaks is because of mineral build up due to the hard water, and not due to a poorly made product... At least this has been my experience. BTW, placing some peanut butter or sunflower spread on the tip really helped our dog take to it really quickly. Hope this helps.

Question:	Anyone had trouble with mold growing in this bowl/have ideas of how to prevent it? This is the only problem we have, but haven't had with other bowls
Answer:	Yes, I have. I have to clean it out every couple of days.The rate that the water fills the bowl is not enough to clean the mold and the water does not circulate.
Question:	What is the exact size of the opening from which the dog drinks? I need to keep long ears on the outside of the bowl
Answer:	Hi. The opening is 7" across at its widest point (it tapers toward the front) and it's 7.5" front to back. We keep ours outside and it's held up well. Still recommend it. (Sorry for the delayed response; I was out of town and just got home where I could measure it.)
Question:	Can you share this with the water supply that the refrigerator uses
Answer:	Yes you can easily, I would not hook up to the SAME line as your refrigerator , but you could use a ice maker install kit and just tap into any cold water line within the 20-25 ft limit of the install kit. I would suggest using an anti siphon valve though to prevent back flow. On the bowl end you would need an adapter that goes from a standard 3/4 inch PIPE thread(not 3/4 garden hose thread, because it's too loose and will leak) to a compression fitting end for the install kit, which any home improvement store will carry.
Question:	How do they work?? Seems like the water would over flow is there a shut off valve in it or something. I don't want to have to remember to turn the water off
Answer:	Hi Tina, I have been using this since September 2013. It has a float switch under the black cover that works exactly like the float in your toilet tank. The float is adjusted with a plastic wing nut to regulate the water level in the bowl. I have two golden retrievers and have it set to stop 1/2 inch from the top. I bought a Y connector so I could attach a second hose to water my garden without detaching the dog bowl. I cut a short length of hose and bought a plastic end to attach to the bowl. This gave me a metal end to attach to the metal faucet and a plastic end to attach to the plastic fitting on the bowl. I used plumbers tape on both ends and leave the water turned on very low pressure 24/7. I bought a second one as a gift for a friend who doggie sat my dogs. This self filling bowl is great. Buz
