Answer:	The dimensions given for this one are 47.9 x 31.4 x 1.5 inches so I don't think it would work for your size crate. They come in different sizes. You might look at another size.

Answer:	No, the space will not. It only allows for urine to pass through. Solids need to be picked up before stepped on and squished into the grate.

Answer:	The MidWest Homes for Pets floor grates are made specifically for the MidWest Homes for Pets crates. They fit very closely with little or no room for adjustment. If you have a MidWest crate the description number should determine the grate size. I have had no luck mixing brands of grates to crates.

Answer:	I've talked to customer support about a couple things and they have had excellent support. Go to contact seller (click on order history and click on the item. There will be a link to contact seller) send email with pics and what happened. Usually only takes a day or two to get a reply back
Question:	Is there any warrantee offered? My dog can break out of anything and im not confident in purchasing if there is no warrenty
Answer:	Not sure about the warrantee but my dog has separation anxiety and has tore up the wire fold crates and the plastic crates . This one is bigger and stronger and she dont even try it . I think it could hold a tiger cub super well made

Question:	Hi, guys, I just got a maltese pup, which grid spacing size would you more seasoned dog owners recommend for my Mr. Snugglybuns
Answer:	I raised show cockers for over 25 years. We had a whelping box attached to the Midwest cage, so by the time puppies were big enough to follow Mom into the cage, they could walk on the small square grid. The Big problem with the 1/2 in grid, is that our pups & even adult cockers frequently got their toes stuck in the 1/2 in grid.. Surprisingly, even young pups do learn to walk on the small square grid. In our experience, the square grid was much safer!
Question:	Could this be used for biddies? Or is the great too large for their feet
Answer:	I would not recommend this cage at all. It rusts quickly. It might work for older biddies but not newborns. They could actually escape through the bars. The floor would also be too big for their feet. Older ones would do great. The design o this cage is good but the pans are very flimsy and break easily and as I said before it rusts very quickly.
Question:	I have a puppy that will prob be 50-70lbs will a large cage be ok
Answer:	I use this cage for puppies that are 4-9 weeks old. They weigh 12 lbs now and are at the peak weight for this particular cage as my dogs will grow to about 50 lbs.
Question:	We are getting a 9 week old shih tzu puppy soon. Will this 1/2 floor grate be a problem for his little paws while he is this young
Answer:	We use ours as a whelping kennel for miniature dachshunds. We typically put blankets and bedding in the Puppy Playpen including a heating pad or heat lamp above the kennel early on. By 8 weeks for our dogs that are typically less than 10 pounds as adults have no problem with narrow grate floor. We also use the Puppy Playpen as a night time kennel for sleep for our adult dogs with bedding in part of the kennel. It works well for this, too.
