Answer:	It's ideal for my 65 lb. rangey mutt, taller and longer than most boxers. He has enough height and enough room to lie down and to turn around. Something to consider is the size and weight for storage. This folded 36" crate is pretty heavy and unwieldy at about 25 lbs. with a soft mat included. Also, any dog has to be trained to be comfortable in a crate (see http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/dogs/tips/crate_training.html ).

Answer:	I have a standard full sized dachshund, and because his back is so long; he needs room to turn around. I have a a 36 x 23x 24 crate which is perfect for him. He can go in head first and still have enough to turn himself around to come out.

Answer:	No, it has not. I received the 36x23x25 intermediate crate today (2/22/2019) and the edges are definitely sharp. In the past two years, I have ordered two of the higher end MidWest Ultima Pro crates and neither had sharp edges. I wish that I purchased another Pro but I needed something lighter, cheaper for a growing puppy. I think the Midwest Pro is the way to go-thicker, sturdier, no sharp metal.

Answer:	No, I have a small breed cat and there is no room for a litter box unless you use something small like a wash basin for a sink as the litter box. When I use it, I have a cat bed or blanket, toys and a water dish. We don't use it often only for travel.

Answer:	The top does unzip and can be removed, but I don’t know if Autokcan offers replacement parts to fix this problem. If they sell a replacement top, it can be installed to replace the old one.

Answer:	The playpen collapses and folds down very easily. It also has velcro straps that hold it together once it is folded. This makes it easy to slide it back into it's bag carrying case.

Answer:	I foster kittens and I use round pens to contain them at night. As long as the pen comes with a top and bottom you should be good. They are going to climb the netting but their claws won't do any real, if any damage. However, as they get older their claws will leave little holes. I also have a pen for my older cat and he loves to get it in (he did it all on his own) when the kittens are out playing, I close the door so they can't bother him. I'm a fan of the round pen.

Question:	Can one add castors to roll the crate easily and safely if need be? If so, what castors are recommended
Answer:	If you are comfortable drilling through the floor and have a way to cap the screws/bolts to keep the puppies from hurting themselves on them - I guess you could. But I would recommend building more of a dolly (frame with 2x4s and 4 casters) and putting the cage on top of it, that way the flooring is supported in the middle and doesn't sag. And the bigger the casters, the better.

Answer:	We just bought this XL crate from Prevision Pet, and the ad that induced me to buy it did say there were 2 locks on the doors. Nope, it ONLY HAS ONE SLIDELOCK on each door. Our 85-pound, 9-month-old Lab/Pit "puppy" (who is crate trained since he was 8 weeks old) figured it out the second night, jiggled the door open and ran amok in the house. The next night, I made sure those 'hooks' were securely in place and that the slidelock was fully engaged. Didn't do a bit of good. Now, I have to use multiple carabiners to keep the door from lifting off the hooks and the lock jiggling into an open position. I am NOT a happy camper and it makes the dog nuts when he's in the crate and I'm either trying to put him to bed or get him out in the morning. If the crate wasn't so dreadfully heavy (80+ lbs), I'd return it. It would cost a fortune to ship it back. Not pleased by the incorrect product description.

Answer:	Good l shaped latches made of heavy metal 2 latches per door and the weight is enough to hold the L shaped latch in place. Purchased for a bassett and she has never gotten out. The cage i got is good quality materials, good paint coating that has not chipped, no sharp edges, and only collapses when you chose to collapse it for storage. I plan to buy another for my other dog for traveling, they travel well if you dont have to do a lot of moving it around as they have a clip on handle that doesnt work well due to the size of the handle and the weight and size of the cage.

Answer:	My biggest fear is the one that chews on it all day long I've had these over a year and has not even torn one of the little holes ferrets have a very sharp teeth and very sharp claws if they can't get through it I don't think your cat will I'm pretty sure on top of that though the only thing I found was one of my favorites was smart enough to learn how to work the zipper on the side door so I had to find a way to keep her from getting out that way and all I did was take a zip tie and put it through the two holes closest to the bottom near the material and zip-tied and shut and she can't get out the top one because of the way it overlaps
