Answer:	Yes, I painted it with my outside door paint that I already had. The wood is barely stained, and does not have a sealer on it, so there was no problem getting the dog house to soak up the paint. It really needs a coat of outside paint to keep it from deteriorating over time.

Answer:	Say you want a corner hole in a 3 by 5 foot piece of wood. Slide the drill guide along either side, adjusting it so the hole is exactly over the spot where you want the hole to be. Clamp it to the wood and drill.

Answer:	I've had no problems with wear on the bits, or the guide. BUT, it is just a guide; it you don't apply pressure straight down, you are liable to cock the guide and drill the hole in the wrong place anyway.

Answer:	I would thread your chosen bit (the bit has not been chucked up yet) through the appropriate hole while lifting the drill guide a bit so you can see the tip of your bit and your pencil mark. Then press the bit tip into your pencil mark so the bit doesn't change positions when you ease the drill guide down on the wood. Now clamp the drill guide in place so it can't move, while continuing to hold it in place with your free hand. Now chuck the bit and drill your hole, knowing that you will drill through your pencil mark.

Answer:	You can put it on either side. I have 2 of these crates and built them according to wall placement. The only thing that matters is which way you want the hinge to open. If you put it on the right of the thin side door it will open to the non door thin side. If you put it on the left it will open to the door on the thin side.

Answer:	The box for my xxl double door crate reads 54Lx37Wx45H so yes I think the crate description that you're considering has a type-o. Size-wise mine works well for a 190# goofball Dane or both the 60# decorative landscape rock Pit & 90# back-talking Wemareiner together with lounge room. Crate takes up a lot of space in my home but worth it so no one gets on the couch for "sorority girl pillow fight" in my absence! Not sure what size/type dog you are considering it for, but I recently purchased a 2nd Midwest crate to go with the 1 I got from a Dane rescue years ago; really liked the size & construction. Not an easily moveable crate obviously due to size so plan to keep it where you 1st place it unless you have help to take it down-- not going through most house doors assembled. I ordered crate wheels as well but have not put them on yet so will see if they make cleaning around & under simpler; just something else to consider depending on what type of floor surface your crate may be resting on. Answer:	I purchased this for my Golden retriever....he weighs 100 lbs....it fits him. If he lays down the length of his body, its a little tight, for the most part, he likes to look out the door and usually rest his head our the door.

Answer:	This house will not last in the long run, the hard ware is flimsy and the screws are to short to actually hold. The second time opening the roof the guide bars bent and the third they were beyond repair. The house seems decent and would be phenomenal if they use quality materials. Save your money and build one from scratch I wish I had.
Question:	Would the 30" high be okay for a 120 lb dog
Answer:	Do not buy this it is absolutely garbage. We have a lab/retriever mix and it totally fell apart. The hinges bent and broke the wood off the roof the trim fell apart the bottom of the assembled house doesn’t fit well so air flows in through the bottom making it cold. Very disappointed in the quality of the wood you can definitely buy better lumber for less from Home Depot and build a nice solid dog house.

Question:	Does the tepee have a bottom that’s attached
Answer:	Yes they should no problem. I have a 50lb bull terrier and 7lb daschaund that fit with extra room. They snuggle each other though and don’t mind sharing space.

Answer:	I need to upgrade mine. I bout the Large and my German Shepherd is now 100lbs and While he can fit in it, he has to to wiggle in and I think an XL for him would had been better.
