I think a 3/4 inches thickness would be more suitable, preferably one of those leash that stretch. As for the length I guess depends on the control you want. If I was to buy a leash for my cat I will do a search on cat product instead of adapting one made for dogs. Just make sure that the fit is right...and, it works like magic, even on breeds that are bred to pull. The front ring location induces self-correction. Basically, when the dog pulls forward, the front ring harness is not rewarding, as it pulls them to the side, instead. They learn that pulling is not beneficial. And all without causing harm or pain! Training is the most effective and enduring when it is rewarding/safe/fun for all involved. Pain-based interventions (ie, prong, choke, shock collars) are doomed to create fear-based aggression, and/or compromise a trusting/safe relationship with your dog.

Max and Neo Dog Gear is named after my dog Neo and my brother's dog Max. Both dogs lived happy lives in Arizona. When Neo passed away, I began fostering rescue dogs. It became apparent to me that running dog rescues required alot of resources in both time and money. Question:	Is this machine washable
Answer:	The bowls are stainless steel, and the frame is wood. It’s a great stand. As for where it’s made I don’t know, but I love it.
Question:	The hook is metal correct
Answer:	No. My husband assembled it and it wasn't difficult. This is a great piece. We have a cats and 2 dogs. One is a Brittney Spaniel and the other one is a miniature Yorkie. Dakota, our Brittney Spaniel, is my husband's hunting dog. He is always concerned about the twisting of their stomachs. My nephew had a beautiful and great Lab who had the twisted stomach. It was very painful and unfortunately he passed away. So this elevated feeder looks great; It's very reasonably priced; and it's comforting not having to worry about a twisted intestine tragedy.
Question:	Would this be okay for a cat? He has a tendency to pull and bungee leashes have now broken two collars, so I need something else
Answer:	I don’t think so, but I already had deeper bowls and I replaced the ones it came with and mine fit perfect.
Question:	The maypaw rope leash states it's nylon. is it soft or stiff? i sometimes short-leash my dog and i am concerned about possibly getting rope burn
Answer:	Unfortunately, there is only one size. I purchased based on the description that this was suitable for dogs up to 70 pounds. My dog is that. The bowl is too deep for my dog to eat food from comfortably. I wish it was shallower and wider. It's been relegated to the feline of the house. :)
