Answer:	In my opinion you should be fine, the dog should be nice and close to you. I am 5'9 and used this with my dog who is probably about the same size as your dog. You could try with a piece of rope the same length looped to her collar and see if how that feels.

Question:	What size should I get for a Belgian Malinois puppy
Answer:	I use it on my Siberian. A breed known to be able to escape out of any collar or harness. She doesn't try. I think it would be harder to get out of this harness than some others, and it was recommended to me by owners of Malamutes and Siberians, both of which are escape artists. You might try a belly band to go with the harness. You can get them on line with any outfitter that sells harnesses for working dogs. Amazon may sell belly bands. I am happy with it for what I use it for.

Answer:	Without question, it is great for running. We run with our dog daily. If you size the harness correctly, which is simple to do, and buckle it properly behind his front paws, there is no way he can escape.
