Question:	Does it have a quick release for safety
Answer:	It has a normal release like any other pet collar would. Never really known of a pet collar to have a "quick release" just the typical one. My lab/border collie mix did not last long with this collar. It broke within only a few weeks of owning it. I really would say that there is nothing special about. Just your basic pet collar.
Question:	i have arthritis in hands; how easy is this collar to latch and unlatch? currently have one from target and it's easy; moochie&co too tight for mee
Answer:	It is very difficult to release the clasp. I definitely would not recommend it for someone with arthritic hands. Neither my 20 year-old granddaughter or I can get the clasp to release without a great deal of effort.

Answer:	I'm assuming you don't have your pup yet and can't measure, so... The smallest of my Border Collie pups was 8 pounds at 9 weeks old and her collar was adjusted to between 11 and 12 inches. Given that the extra small only goes up to 10 inches and the small starts at 12 (which you'll never really get to due to the label and web overlap), I'd look for a different brand that has a size range from about 10 to 15 inches.

Answer:	I bought large for my 70lb pup. I would suggest you measure his neck. Also bear in mind your pup is still growing. Collars are adjustable.

Question:	How many letters and numbers (total characters) are available on a medium or large collar
Answer:	Thanks for the question. There isn't any define answer to this. But the writing is done within 150mm space on the medium and 165mm space on the large. Now and then someone wants maybe the dogs name and 2 phone numbers. So say the dogs name is Princess Buttercup and they want 2 phone numbers. THAT is just way to much information. Princess Buttercup and one phone number will fit but we would have to shrink down the font to fit within that area. But for a general rule 20 characters if fine. 25 we have to start shrinking the text to get it to fit. 30 characters and that's just to much information to fit and look legible. So if the dogs name was Buttercup follwed by 1 phone number it will look great. If there is ever an issue with to much text we will contact you and let you know. For example we work with many resuce groups and it seems they all want a ton of information and we work with them to try and get them something they are happy with. I hope that helps!

Answer:	The collar size should be the length of the collar so if your dog's neck measures 16" then you want something that is a few inches longer. Same concept as with human belts.

Answer:	The overall length is 14", with each end being about an 1". So the actual collar material is 12".

Answer:	Hi, it is exactly as they say in the description. It is a little bit to firm with the adjustment and buckle for my Chihuahua's neck but she is tolerating it fine. It really helps me know that if she gets out the door anyone who catches her will see her name and my phone number. If they make a slimmer one the lettering might not be visible enough, don't know their options on printing.
Question:	Has anyone had trouble with the writing wearing off
Answer:	No it does not wear off but occasionally the collar has come off while on the hiking trail. I do not know if it was my daughter's failure to keep them on the lease or maybe if this was the reason for the price reduction. They look great on my Boston Terriers but I use a body leash now to ensure that they do not get away. Otherwise they look fashionable at home but I will not rely on it for walks.
Question:	What size would I get for my 7lb. Chihuahua
Answer:	You have to measure your dog's neck and add 2 inches. There is a guideline as to sizes. My dog's neck is 12 1/2 inches so I got a medium. Most likely you'll need a small.

Answer:	never leave these on without a leash. Especially if another dog can grab and tighten the collar. Also dogs can get the upper loop in their mouth and twist it and choke. It DOES happen. Use ON leash only.

Answer:	The one we purchased is for a very small dog. The nylon on ours is definitely sturdy. We got black just in case they vary...? The buckle is plastic, and ours seems ok, not weak. At least with a larger dog collar you should be able to read the name / number unlike ours being small it goes under the buckle loop and is unreadable. As far as ours is it seems good quality and I would purchase for a larger dog myself.

Answer:	I wouldn't buy it for a cat. It has a fastex buckle that won't break away. We use it on our 80 lb. pit mix dog.

Answer:	This is not a cat collar. Cats need quick release collars. This is so when they get caught on things they(and they will) they hopefully can get free.
Question:	Does this collar hold up well? I bought a similar one last year and the reflective strip has come loose
Answer:	I purchased this collar last month and it has held up very well. It arrived weeks before it was expected ( original delivery date was August 20). The reflective strip is more like a 3m ribbon and the embroidery is over that ribbon. Honestly, I wasn’t sure about the quality when I ordered. But this is a great collar. I have ordered more!
