Answer:	Yes it will I put it on the side of my bed so that it could base against the wall. You would need to figure out a way to stablelize . If using on a carpet it might work but I have all hardwood floors.

Answer:	Perhaps but, I wouldn't. It seems very sturdy however, the tread might, in time, be affected by extremes in weather. As it folds up, it really doesn't take much space to stow.

Question:	Can this be left outdoors in the rain in Florida
Answer:	I don't know about Florida, but we live in the Pacific Northwest, and I have been driving around with it in the back of my pickup for the past 3 years, and it is still in great shape. It rains alot here in the winter, and it can get pretty cold, plus it gets hot in the summer, and I have not had any problems with it cracking or warping, and the traction surface has not peeled off at all.
Question:	How does the ramp hold on to the surface? I'm considering this for the dive platform of my boat so that my dog can get in and out of the water
Answer:	the sandpaper surface was too abrasive for my dog's pads, so I put velcro and carpet on it for traction. That wouldn't work in water. Also I have found that the ramp slips around where it's edge rests on the tailgate and I have to hold it steady. This wouldn't work very well for a boat...even more slippery. pick something with good rubber feetPS...edited this post to include saying that if your dog is under 40lbs it should work fine if you attach better rubber grips to the "boat end" of the ramp

Answer:	I have a Subaru Forester and an old Norwegian Elkhound. This ramp works for us just fine! Tell you what, though: the angle is the thing. Find the specs for this ramp - the length, specifically. Then use a a stiff tape measure or something of equal length at the rear of your Outback to the ground to approximate the angle. That way, you can be the judge of whether your dog can handle it.Additionally, there is a world of dog ramps out there, widths & lengths. Maybe your dog needs a longer one (and therefore a less steep angle.) You'll have to figure that out.Good wishes.

Question:	Can this be used outdoors in steps? I have an older basset hound that struggles to get down steps (just 3 of them) to go outside and do his business
Answer:	Sure you can use it outside but will it be too steep? You mentioned you have three steps, but you must remember the ramp will lay on the top step, so measure from that height, to the length of the ramp. That will give you the slope rise. My 12 yr. old poodle uses mine gingerly. I take it to use everywhere but mainly from couch to floor or floor to bed. It has a gravel like feel to where they walk on it. Answer:	It is sturdy w a good grip pad surface but it was too wide for the back of my 4-door Honda Accord. It does work w my husband's Honda Element but it has two doors that open out (suicide doors). Definitely check measurements for the width.

Answer:	I amusing one to transition 3 steps for my Llasa Apso without the ramp being too steep. The ramp should actually reach 1 more step in height if your dog can deal with the slope angle. My dog has short legs and hip displacia forcing no more than 45 degrees

Answer:	I'm really not sure about that, my dog is only 11 lbs and I use the ramp for him to get in and out of the house, only one step. Never tried using it for him to get into my car. It's a terrific ramp and really solved my problem I had with him, but your Collie is a much bigger dog. May I suggest you contact the supplier directly and see if they know if that will work for you. I hope your dog gets better, my little guy hurt his back leg several months ago and is finally back to his old self. Question:	Is it EITHER 48 or 87 long, or can you adjust it to any length in between? Anything to help keep the lower end from sliding on a wood floor
Answer:	It slides easily to the length you want. It is 48 to 87 inches long depending on how much you want to slide it out. It is a great product. It has traction on the surface so the dogs can go up and down easily. I have a wood floor and it did not slide but I wasn't sure if it would damage the floor so I put a small door rug on the floor and placed the ramp on it. I had a 100 pd and a 67 pd dog running up and down it constantly. We lost both of them but I won't get rid of the ramp because we will get another dog at some point and it's a "must have". Again the length is up to you as it slides easily and it does not slide on wood.

Answer:	It does not hook to anything. It has rubber cups on the top and bottom of ramp ( underneath ). My parents are in their 80's. They use it for their dog (100 lbs.) To get in RV 5 steps high! Does not move at all. It's great!
Question:	I have a 170 lb English Mastiff. Is this ramp- when extended to its full length- sturdy? Does it 'bounce" when walking on it
Answer:	I have a 180lb English Mastiff who is recovering from CCL surgery on her leg. We bought this ramp to assist her in getting up and down off the deck and front steps. My husband (235 pounds) tried it before we started training the dog on it. We had her trained on it in a matter of a couple of days. She was a little nervous at first but does very well on it now. When extended all the way out it does have a very slight bounce to it but not enough to deter her from going up and down it. The ramp has been very helpful with getting her in and out of the house. I am very pleased that we bought it.

Answer:	It has 2 round rubber disks. I have a Ford SUV and 2 English Mastiffs that are around 170 lbs each. My younger one is a little crazy and was running up and down it. It did not move. My older girl is very skiddish and she felt secure on it.

Answer:	I don’t know the weight but do not buy. It is too steepl the material is slick and my yorkie slides backwards. It is poorly made. Comes apart easily and does snug up to anything.

Answer:	I would imagine some training with treats would be involved. Ours hasn't worked for us because our elderly dog prefers to sleep on the ground now. ..she's afraid of heights now. The dog still needs to have strength enough to climb.

Answer:	It is very sturdy. I am not sure it is wide enough to put the walker on it. see if the walker legs are less than 17.5 inches. I use it to give that extra height to get into tall bed.

Answer:	It could work but you’d have to hold it as there is no way to secure the end to the bed. Also the hard plastic surface can be slippery.

Answer:	Depending how high your Rv steps are if you just need to get the pet up to the first set of steps and its not to steep you should be fine depending on the size of your pet This was purchased for my Dad his Shepherd was bad with hip problems .the ramp is plastic with raised ribs like speed bumps for grip but my dads dog has some trouble with slipping maybe some rubber or none slip material would help. hope this is helpful to you.

Answer:	A 31 inch height would result in a steep incline. Also this ramp is very hard plastic so you would have to find a way to fasten it in place so it wouldn’t slip and fall. Also although it does have treads the hard plastic material is very slippery and doesn’t give a good footing. You might have to a fix some kind of fabric or rug material.

Answer:	The dimensions listed with the item details are correct when the ramp is unfolded. Folded, the ramp is 27" x 16" x 7". My best guess at weight is approximately 10lbs.

Answer:	Depending on how high your bed maybe. This ramp may not be stable enough putting it on the bed. The steeper the ramp angle the more difficult it will be for your dog. My 12 yr old dog can just make it up the ramp into my SUV. However, the ramp does help. I use it for the front steps outside my house. I hope this helps you. Question:	can this ramp be used on the back seat car door? or just the back
Answer:	When in it's folded position, it is 8 inches high (16x26 inches wide/long) and is sturdy enough to use as a step stool for my 67lb older dog to get in to the back seat of the SUV. It does not fit as a ramp to the back seat of my Outlander, it tips and is unsafe - the door does not open wide enough to set it securely. I use the ramp for loading him in the back of the SUV and the folded stool for getting him in the back seat.
