Answer:	My dog loves this mat. As to how cool it keeps my dog I don't know because my dog can't tell me but it must work because he uses it. I recommend keeping the mat out of the sun because the mat will get hot although it provides cooling but laying on it hot can burn. I recommend putting it in the shade on a hot day. It feels cool when I sit in on and it beats sitting on a hot cement form my dog and myself. We even use it in the house. What I personally love about the mat is no refrigeration is required, it recools itself within a short time after getting up, my dog scratches on it like he is trying to make his bed and it doesn't tear like others, and it is extremely easy to food up and bring back into the house. I recommend this mat.

Making the Most of the Coolin’ Comfort Bed

When outdoors, always place the Coolin' Comfort Bed in a shady, cool spot. Do not to place the bed on sharp objects that could puncture the bed.
