Answer:	No, they're random. We have the purple one and the orange one, bought several years apart. The older one seems to be stitched a little more sturdily, as it's survived almost 6.5 years of my retriever tugging on it and the newer one she's managed to tear slightly after 4.5 months, but considering that other toys lasted only minutes or hours, still worth it.

My cat is a 25 lb main coon. He gets what he wants...lol

Answer:	you can glue little rubber feet to the bottom, which will prevent sliding.. or that rubber matting that you put under carpets. I have mine against a window seat.. it does double duty to assist my old guys in climbing up.. but I always find it in other areas of the room, and turned over.. they don't seem to mind, and get quite excited when I right it!

Answer:	I don't know, I bought them quite some time ago and the packaging is long gone. There is no tag on the item itself to give any indication. You might check the Petmate website; perhaps they list the information there. They are very thin, however; I won't buy them again. I thought they'd give my dog some extra cushioning on top of his crate pad, but they were useless for that. I just bought him a cushier bed instead. :-) Good luck!

Answer:	I don't know - but the cardboard can be turned over. I think these are about $8 on Amazon - $20 in our stores so for me, buying new ones isn't so bad. And the cats prefer them over any other scratch box.

Answer:	Yes, it comes in a little ziplock bag attached to the packaging. Now that said, clearly the scent seeps out a little, because my cat can tell that the Amazon box contains her present before it is opened! Whatever kind it is, she appears to like better than the catnip I bought her on its own. I think the little included kitty toy has catnip inside it, although she's usually not too interested in it.

Question:	How to you take it apart if it becomes full of ants
Answer:	We had a similar issue (not ants, but crumbs, and it made me cringe). We called the manufacturer and got one rep who was clueless, and another who said they don't come apart but for the small hole at the top. So we mixed dawn, vinegar, and water, and used pipe cleaners. We'd shake it, rotate the top to make the feed holes bigger or smaller, and continue to shake, and detail the spaces we could reach with a pipe cleaner.Then we ran it through the dishwasher with a 'sanitary' cycle.They looked (and smelled) like new.I hope this helps!

Answer:	I absolutely love these for my fat cat Samson! We use Kirkland brand from Costco. It's perfect for the small setting and doesn't feed too much even at the biggest setting. It's grain free also ...makes for some healthy kitties.
