Answer:	My husband is 6'4 and always orders an X-lg and he has had it going on to 2 years and it is washed once a month.... on cold water and hung to dry he loves it and it fits well

Answer:	This is a zip up hooded sweater, I chose this over the jacket because you can put a heavy coat on over it. I have used it as low as 35f out. I recommend a pair of Dewalt 3ah compact batteries to go with it. Between the two you can get a full day of use out of it and just charge them as needed.

Answer:	Inside the jacket says to hand wash/hand wring and dry. It also says do not use the washer with a hand wash cycle. With that said, I have used the hand wash cycle of the washer and it seems ok. But I also understand Dewalt won’t warranty the jacket either. No problems over 3 years. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I didn't know how to comment as to the item itself. I'm trying to find a lightweight packable puffer coat to wear even during the cold weather. I bought one a few years back off season at the clearance price at JCP to keep in my car as an emergency in it's pouch (a great feature) It keeps me warm. Mine has a thin hood kept snapped underneath the collar. Has zip pockets...it didn't come with inner pockets which would've been even nicer. Just wish they'd state correct sizes as I appreciate people who take the time to give a review but some do not mention sizes with height and weight. I also wish more things were made in the U.S.A I'm certainly not complaining but everything is made elsewhere. Answer:	I just measured the inside of mine and it's 22" long (max), 13 1/2 h and 13" wide - a tight fit for your kitty. I would agree with several of your other responders -ok for short distances, though would avoid for longer distances. You want your best friends to be more than comfortable. (mine inside measures 22"l x 13.5"w and 13"h. Personally, I would opt to the next size up.
Question:	my cat is about 14 lbs and difficult to handle - is this pet mate two door top load an easy loading carrier
Answer:	I have a 12.7 lb cat that went in so easy from the top. I put it in the car first.(back seat) I propped the top door open against the seat and he went right in. At the Vets office I had to wait in the exam room for a bit and opened the top,while sitting next to my chair, and he popped his head out the top and I just pet him while we were waiting. He's usually afraid, but I think because the top was open he felt better. My Vet even commented on how nice it was and even asked about where I had gotten it. I love this carrier!

Question:	What are the dimensions of the shipping box for the XL size crate
Answer:	There are two inside pockets that are tall and at the bottom inside the jacket with their opening at the top and made using the same fabric that lines the coat (as opposed to a mesh some companies use). They would be appropriate for things like gloves or even a compact collapsible umbrella. They do not zip close. There are no pockets higher up that you might use for a phone, as an example, which is a bummer because there are no upper pockets on the outside either.

It is like a mini-room for my 60 pd. puppy. The lock is secure yet simple to operate. Well ventilated with windows on all sides and tall enough for my dog to stand comfortably. I would not hesitate to recommend it. (Have not used it for airline travel-only as a home kennel) Update: My dog is now 88 pounds (german shepherd/border collie) and extremely muscular. He has not defeated the latch system. Plenty of room for him to stand and move within the crate. Fourteen months old and Kennel looks and functions just as it did on day one. I am purchasing a second one for my golden retriever puppy.

Answer:	Based on our experience, the answer probably is "it depends." For what it's worth, here are some notes on our experience.1/ We needed to fly from Seattle to Oslo with a 90 pound German Shepherd. 2/ Regulatory requirements re: crates are quite vague, and airlines implement the objectives ("comfortable," "safe," etc.) differently. But all of the constraints were based on height and length; we did not find an airline with a weight constraint. As for the height constraint, some airlines measure to the top of the ears sitting, while some measure to the top of the "head" (no clarification) standing. One airline measured length from tip-of-nose to tip-of-tail! At least for us, the airline (Iceland Air) could not accept this large crate at the airport. So we had to work with a freight company. At that point, you're subject to multiple entities' potentially different criteria (airline, freight co., FAA, IATA, and the USDA-equivalent in any country where you change planes). We decided to get something that would satisfy the strictest requirement. Ultimately, we found that the largest crate was the only way to make sure that our dog didn't get stranded en-route.3/ That said, the series 7 crate created some logistical issues. British Airways told us they could not accept the crate (regardless of the size fo the dog). American told us the same thing. United, Iceland Air, and SAS all provided quotes. Turns out that this crate would not fit on either a 737 or an A320! United only flies 737s into Oslo, but the freight rep was apparently unaware of the constraint. I can't imagine how screwed we would have been if we'd arrived at Heathrow planning to fly to Oslo on United. Anyway, if you do get the series 7 crate, make sure your entire journey is on sufficiently large aircraft. For us, that meant flying Iceland Air. They exclusively fly 757s, so we knew we'd be OK. Anyway, I hope some of this helps. This crate worked well for us, but it created additional administrative complexities for which some of the airline reps were unprepared. Good luck!!
