Answer:	I have owned this litter box for over 6 months and I have NEVER used bag liners. Personally, i think bag liners just get scratched up and do more harm than good. So yes, you can. However, the purpose of bag liners is to keep the litter sanitary and clean - I would definitely be sure to clean the litter often so feces don't stick to the bottom or anything like that. - Heather

Answer:	Door is 7 1/2 inch wide x 13 inch high floor to top of the arch. My 16 lbs male cat uses it conveniently.

Answer:	At first I tried to fold the plastic liner over the edge of the lower half. It would not fit. I tried just bringing the bag up to the edge. I secured it with a few small pieces of tape. When the dome is placed on top it traps the edge of the bag holding it in place. I just need to learn where to purchase more bags. Will start at the website. Good luck!
Question:	Can a dog get its head in the box. (I know, I am sorry
Answer:	We have chihuahuas (5, 6 and 9 lbs). The oldest 9 lb doesn't even try to go in but the other two can zip in and out of there as if it was made for them. They don't move the lid or anything; they are smaller then the cat. But they will try to drag kitty litter and then some out of it frequently. No problems for me though as they do the same and worse with litter boxes uncovered or with a normal box cover.

Answer:	I thunk size wise it would be fine. It’s a good opening both on the outside and where kitty steps into the litter. My though might be how well does your kitty get around? The drop into the litter part could be a little steep? I have a 6 year old kitty that’s chubby and she loves this box. My skinny 13 year old kitty is a little less fond of it, but will still use it.

Answer:	Good question! I keep looking on amazon. I use one a round one sold there even tho doesnt fit exactly. Its just an odor filter but doesnt do that much really. But would be nice to have the right size.

Answer:	There is a location on the top of the igloo for it, my cats don't pay a lot of attention to it most of the time, but sometimes they get playful and pull it down!

Answer:	I had the old model, it took these round filters (had a "cage" that the filter snapped into). My new booda dome (bought about six months ago) take a squarish filter that slides into the top. I have yet to see a replacement for the square ones.
Question:	Are these filters really effective? Seems to me that there are a lot of other ways for fumes to escape, not just the part covered by the filter
Answer:	The filters are effective. We still smell the fumes immediately after the cats have used the litter box, but the smell goes away after a few minutes. One time the cats had torn up the filter - so we had no filter for a couple of days until the new ones arrived. Huge difference! It stunk!

Answer:	These filters are barely over 6 inches(in any direction around) so they probably are not the right ones to completely filter the vent. Of course this depends on how you install them, we have the Booda Dome "Clean Step". The answer below is some other filter completely and not the one pictured and I measured.
