Answer:	Sorry, I don't know the answers to your questions. It worked extremely well on two long haired cats. I completed them both in 40 minutes with no battery problems.

Answer:	Yes it will. My long hair cat gets those too! The best way to get those off, I've found, is to use it without the comb attachements. I put the dial on 0.8 or 1.4. I get right in there, close to his skin. It doesn't hurt him, and the knots come off. Hope that helps! :)

Answer:	I am sure it will. I cut my Maine Coon cats hair completely down to a "lion cut" with these. I had no problem with them at all. The noise level was extremely low and the blade was sharp. Answer:	The 0809 is only the production date. Cross makes 2 different style rollerball refills. They make this one and a slim version for their new lines. If your current refill you are talking about measures 4 1/2 inches long, this is what you want to order. The "slim" rollerball refill measures 4 inches long. I hope this helps !!
Question:	What is the pad made of
Answer:	It will fit the slim T-Clip. If the refill looks like this, then the Cross refill will fit.
Question:	Wondering if this brush connect with pad stably
Answer:	The various 8512, 8513, 8515, etc. are basically the same Cross refills other than some are fine point, some are medium point; and they come in blue or black ink.
Question:	Is it easy to assemble
Answer:	There is a Cross gel ink refill, but it will not fit into a ballpoint. You would need a rollerball type Cross pen for it to fit.

Answer:	I prefer to use a comb with tines much closer together for the daily grooming of my cats and use this tool when mats are present.
Question:	Is the groomer specific for long furry animals? Is it as efficient on animals with a short fur length
Answer:	I have three cats. One is long haired, one is short haired, and one is VERY short haired. For the long-haired cat, this works well. My short-haired cats, it works less well, but did do a decent job at getting some mats out of the standard short haired cat. The very short haired cat, this doesn't do much for, it's more productive just to brush her.
Question:	How does this compare to a furminator
Answer:	The furminator has tines that are really close together. My dogs did not like it because it pulls their thick hair. This product has one side where the teeth are pretty far apart. Use this side first until you get a lot of the loose hair off or until your dog gets used to it. Then turn it over and use the side with the teeth closer together to finish removing the loose hair. My dogs enjoy this product, they would not tolerate the furminator.

Answer:	I've a gold Cross pen that's 40-50 yrs old. This refill will not fit it.

Answer:	This 8523-2 (or 8523-1) refill is the correct refill for a Cross Selectip pen. If you are looking for refills for the "Click" pen, you need the Slim refill, part number 8910-1 or 8910-2. The Selectip and Click pen refills are not interchangeable due to differences in length. By the way, the 0910 you mention is not the model number, it's the mm/yy date of manufacture of the cartridge!

Answer:	You say you need a refill for the Slim Gel "click" pen. In your question, the key word is "Slim." You want the 8910-2 (Blue) or 8910-1 (Black) refill for your click pen. This 8523-2 refill is for the Selectip pens, not the "click" pen. The length of the Slim and Selectip refills are different and not interchangeable! Note that the #0413 you mention is not a model number, it's the mm/yy date the refill was manufactured. Cross definitely doesn't make obtaining the correct refill an easy task!

Answer:	I have a Cross Edge Capless Gel Ink Pen and this refill works very well and is durable. Ink flow is very good and the resulting images exceptional. This is a great pen and this refill works well.
