Answer:	Hi Doreen... Actually, I bought the 4 pack because I have four cats. I had earlier in the month bought a 4 pack someplace else, so I had two treatments for each cat. I did the treatments three weeks apart (the instructions say it is OK to do if you wait seven days). I bought the 9+ lb. package as three of the cats are well over that weight. One cat is a bit smaller and I didn't use quite all of the tube on her. None of the cats had any bad reactions, and it worked well for three of them. The other cat (partial Maine Coon) had some results, but not so good.

Answer:	The Advantage II which I use is only for fleas not ticks. It comes in a tube and you apply it between the shoulder blades. As for Advantage 9, I have never heard of it. But I can tell you that neither my dog or my cat has had fleas with this product.

Answer:	It worked on lice for the cats I put it on. One of them had a bad infestation. She’ll need more applied again. The life cycle is 3-4 weeks of a louse.

Answer:	Its kept my dog flea free. Best yet, she's deathly allergic to Fipronil flea meds suddenly as a senior. Advantage and this generic have produced zero side effects in her, although I was terrified to use anything after a terrible reaction to her usual flea products last summer. With a new puppy, a 1 year old, and 2 cats, skipping flea prevention wasn't an option. So far, this has been wonderful. By the way, if your pets show any signs of an immediate reaction to any flea products, immediately bathe them in blue Dawn dishwashing liquid. I'd changed vets and the new vet failed to tell me all the regular shampoos weren't helping because flea meds are oil based. Only Dawn will get it off, hopefully before it's been absorbed in the bloodstream. Dawn and 2 weeks of subQ fluids even 4 days later saved my dog's life.

Answer:	I started using this like 2 yrs ago. It works very well. I have my cat take an oral pill one month and bath him in this amazing how it keeps him free of fleas. I want to say since the directions DO NOT specify do not use on kitties You probably could. It is safe and our cat has never had an issue. Leave on for 4 to 5 minutes working it in his fur then rinse very well. Use less the amount you would on a bigger cat. But I truly think its safe to use on your kitty. Just use less. you can use it every 2 weeks we do it every other month or so. I hope this is a help. I did some research and NO info out there states YOU cannot use on a kitty. Best regards

Answer:	I have done so for my cats. Vets Best is plant based, i.e., peppermint oil and clove oil topical to repel fleas and ticks whereas Revolution is systemic medication absorbed through the skin. I would wait a week or so between the topical and the Revolution.

Answer:	Not sure about advantage 2 but I asked the vet about frontline and the answer was yes because it's natural you just want to wait 48 hours after putting on the frontline so you don't wash the meds off or use this first and then apply flea meds

HOW TO APPLY CHERISTIN: 1. Hold the applicator tube upright and press cap down until it clicks, indicating the tube has been punctured. 2. Remove the cap and make sure there is an opening at the tip of the tube. 3. Part the hair on your cat’s neck at the base of the head until skin is visible. 4. Place the tip of the tube directly above the skin and squeeze 2-4 times to dispense the contents directly on the skin.

OTHER APPLICATION TIPS: Apply a single dose to each individual cat. Do not split a single tube between multiple cats. For best results, apply at the base of the head, not between shoulder blades. Avoid getting Cheristin in your pet’s eyes or mouth. Do not allow your cat to ingest Cheristin.

Answer:	I'm not sure why, but the manufacturer instructions indicate not to bath your dog for 48 hours before the application.

Answer:	Yes it does come with the application point. It also comes with a push down and screw method to release the treatment.

Answer:	I live in upstate NY on 15 acres of pines , ticks are very nasty this year along with mosquitos , before we put on are dog we had found a few ticks just from walking trails, (normal) but since then it's been almost a month his Drops are due Thursday again and he hasn't had a single ticket or flea or bug bits . I've used other more costly drops but this brand has always been the best for my dog (go figure a mutt needs cheaper things than a purebred)

Question:	Does it really work for cats
Answer:	We've used it all summer on two indoor/outdoor cats -- works great, and our cats didn't have the allergic reaction that they've had on some other brands (Frontline, etc.). I would recommend it.
Question:	Will this treat a 14 pound cat
Answer:	I have a cat that is 13 pounds but he does not go out, our other four do. He is on an enclosed patio for outside time. I do treat him for safety as it would be possible for fleas, ticks and lice to get into the patio area.
Question:	how does this compare to advantage in terms of success in ridding of fleas and/or mites
Answer:	This was the only flea product that’s ever worked for me. I always found Advantage to be overpriced and ineffective.
Question:	How long does it take to start working
Answer:	I applied it on my barn cats in the evening when I fed them, the next morning when I fed them not one of the 7 cats was scratching and I didn't see any fleas on any of the cats. I think it started working as soon as you apply it to the cats.

- Remove product tubes from the package.

- Separate one tube from the others.

Answer:	Under "Important Information" it states: "Active Ingredients: Peppermint Oil...0.20%, Eugenol (from Clove plants)...0.46%, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (plant-derived)...1.78%, Inert Ingredients* ...97.56%, *Water, Sodium Benzoate (preservative widely used in foods)." I believe the ingredient list given by "anonymous da" is for the dog version (https://www.amazon.com/Vets-Best-Natural-Flea-Spray/dp/B003PRI6OC). I haven't purchased either, just going by the information given on the product pages.
Question:	Would this work for rabbits
Answer:	I am not sure I would call your vet, just on a side note this did not work on my cats.
Question:	I read that pepperment oil is harmful to cats-what is everyone's take on this
Answer:	Most essential oils are toxic to cats. Normally we, and other animals, have an enzyme in our liver to break down the components of essential oils. However, cats do not have this enzyme. So, the toxic components of the oils biomagnify (build up) over time, and cause severe liver damage, neurological issues, immune system failure, and eventually death. Think of it this way, dogs cannot have too much chocolate for a very similar reason. Their bodies were not designed to digest and break down cacao like ours is. Eventually, too much chocolate will kill them.
Question:	What is the difference between this product (for cats) vs the same home spray marketed toward dogs? And why is this one so much more expensive
Answer:	Brittany's answer is not exactly correct. Close, though. The "cat" version simply reduces the amount of clove oil (eugenol) and the surfactant, sodium lauryl sulfate. Thank you to Vet's Best for being on top of that. The "cat" version will work just fine on dogs and as a spray for bedding and carpet. It is cedar oil that is toxic to cats (and who else?) and this product does not contain that.
