Answer:	This would depend on the depth of the bowl. Guesstimate you would need a minimum depth of at least 8-9 inches; pump is about 2.5 inches high and then you have to allow at least 6 inches for the pump tubing.

Answer:	We have since moved and I no longer have the fountain. However, you can upgrade by checking the gph (gallons per hour) setting. Most pumps come with adapters to conform with the tubes, if necessary, you can always change the tubing to a bigger one. Good luck.

Question:	What do i need to get it working? outlet nearby? water pipe connected? no information on threes regards
Answer:	You can run a grounded (typical three prong) extension cord to the fountain. The lights and pump are all hooked up together inside the fountain (all plug together by you when you get the fountain) and you will need only one cord. With that said you probably want to plug it into a GFI (ground fault interrupt) outlet, usually one that is on the outside of your house. This is usually the same "circuit" that your bathrooms are wired into; for the same reason. Water and electricity don't mix. The GFI will kick the breaker off if any moisture to the plug causes an "short" (mostly due to rain or morning dew at the plugged in point). Now with that said, if you just unplug it when not in use, probably not a big deal where you plug it in. Ideally, I have run a separate underground power line to the fountain with a proper electrical "box" to plug it in to that is fed from my main fuse panel for the house. And of course it is a GFI circuit. The fountain water supply is self contained. It takes about 7 gallons of water that you add to the back of the fountain with an access door. The pump simply recycles the same 7 gallons as it flows down into the small pool it returns to the reservoir and it gets pumped through continuously.
Question:	Does this fountain splash and can I use it at my living room on the hard floor
Answer:	It does not splash and you can adjust the pump to slow the flow. I have mine wide open outside and I have not noticed any splashing. I hardly ever have to add water so can't be losing water. It's pretty good sized and I think you could use it indoors but to be safe I would still put a something attractive underneath to protect my floor if it is real wood and not laminate. It would look beautiful on a wildlife rug.

Answer:	The fountain is very quiet and has a soft sound and flow which does not produce a splash. When filling you would have to be careful to pour the water slowly because it can run over at the bottom.It is attractive and fairly realistic and probably would look okay in an appropriate living room setting. We have had several people comment on the soft running water sound and not realize it was the fountain right next to them. I certainly would recommend this purchase.

Answer:	The fountain is self-contained and all inclusive. The only planning I had to re-think was the outlet. Answer:	The person who indicated this would heat the water has no understanding of the product and should not be answering questions. This device is a pond deicer used only to keep tiny hole open in the the ice to allow for the transfer of gases out of the pond. It will NEVER heat a pond no matter how much electricity. It ONLY turns on when the temp drops below freezing and off again once a few degrees above freezing. It only can generate enough heat to maintain a hole slightly larger than its own body. DO NOT BUY FOR A POND HEATER - Only as stated to use as a pond deicer to allow gas exchange.

I suggest either the Farm Innovators (except the PS200) or the Easy Pro brand. the one in this listing is a submersible deicer which sits underwater in the shallow edge of the pond. you still need to protect the area from high winds which can freeze the water almost instantly at very cold temperatures.The way to test a deicer is to put it in a plastic bag in your freezer for 1 hour. Once you take it out plug it in and it should start to heat up immediately. It was learned the hard way over many years that most customers who claim to have failed deicers just dont have it set up correctly. When they are forced to do the "freezer test" before they are allowed to return a so called defective unit they suddenly realize that it really does work and they finally admit that they did not really do all those suggestions in the instructions like they swore they did the day before. In summary, dont buy a $30 deicer and expect it to work more than one season, set up your unit correctly or ask for advice from your dealer, and if you have any doubts the unit is working pop it in for the freezer test. Question:	Plugged back in and pump is running but not pumping water
Answer:	Dear customer, If the LED lights are working then it means that the water pump is probably clogged. Please follow the steps below to clean the pump. 1) Unplug the water fountain from the power source. 2) Pull out the water pump from the water tank gently. 3) Remove the pipe from the pump. 4) Slowly and gently remove the top cover of the pump (this is the side where you have the plus/minus switch for water flow control). 5) With a tweezer take out the propeller and clean. 6) Insert the propeller back and put the top cover back until it fits from all side. 7) Attach the pump to the pipe and place it in the tank.
