Answer:	It is not weighted. My cats haven't been able to flip it due to the soft rubber grip/ring around the base (it's floppy and makes the treat holder hard to tilt from the bottom), but a determined cat might be able to separate them.

Answer:	Depends on how smart your cat is. One of my cats eats from it all the time...she also steals things from drawers that aren't fully shut... she has lots of paw control, like little hands. My other cat isn't so dainty. he likes to get food out of stuff he can hit.

Answer:	Your cat should be able to use the feeder. With a declawed cat you have to imagine having up to the first knuckle cut off of each of your fingers. You would still be able to use your hand & fingers, just not at 100% efficiency.
Question:	Has anyone's cat not understood how to get the treats out? My cat just tries to stick her face into each tube and then gives up
Answer:	My cat tried to do that at first too. I put my fingers in the tubes and moved the food out to show him how I could pull out the food. I also put his paws in the tubes so he could feel the food. I also made sure I didn't put food in any other dishes - just in the tubes in this toy - so he'd have to figure it out. Hope this helps.

Answer:	While I can't answer for sure (scientifically), I would doubt it would help with the mites except that you would be vacuuming afterward which would possibly help with the removal of the mites. I believe this is more of a carpet freshener that helps with leaving a pleasant scent in the room. However, it is a very strong scent if you use too much. My daughter used it in her room, and the scent was very strong. The scent did last for quite a while though.

Answer:	I imagine a dog might chew them up. I suggest you hide the filled mousies in one room and close the door with the kitty in the room. Then you could just pick them up after the cat has "hunted" them down. I have to separate my cats when they eat and put the younger cat in his own room to hunt for a while. The system works great.

Answer:	I just ordered 2 boxes of these and received them 5 days after the date stamp on your question. The holes are completely different from the photos and reviews here. Instead of the two holes with the stationary divider in the middle, there is one hole with an adjustable switch that lets you make the hole larger for easy food retrieval or small for harder retrieval. I've been using all 6 and setting them to three levels of difficulty (2 easy, 2 medium, 2 hard). They work like a charm, and I'm using tiny kibble from Blue Buffalo. I only put about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons across three mice because we're just using this to supplement at night so we can sleep. And boy, have we slept the last three nights. My cats love these.

Answer:	It definitely does. This is exactly why I bought this for my cat - to slow him down and keep him from vomiting from overeating, in particular for when I was gone on a trip and the sitter definitely couldn't feed him 4 small meals a day. While he was frustrated with the device at first and would mew to get his food in a regular bowl, we just persisted and he got it. This worked for about a month where I didn't have to feed him 4 small meals a day to keep him from binging and purging. However, he eventually became an expert at pulling out the food and now eats with speed again. While his vomit is less, he is still able to binge and purge again. So, there is still a possibility your cat will become an expert after some time and return to their normal behavior.

Answer:	I don't think so. I'm picturing a huge mess. I only use dry kibble with this for my Pomeranian, and put it in the dishwasher twice a week to clean, so wet food would be a big mess. But if you're cat is gobbling its food, which was the problem with my dog, when I feed my Pom wet food I put it on a big dinner plate and spread it out thin all over the plate, corner to corner, and it slows her down and keeps her from choking.
