Answer:	As a seller (and user) of this item, I can assure you that the pan can be used under the broiler without harm.
Question:	Is this made in the USA
Answer:	Having had both pans, you will find the dimpled enameled steel to be far easier to maintain than the rust laden carbon steel. Also after cooking the paella, the remaining socarrat that is stuck to the bottom is easier to clean up. This is not the case with carbon steel which requires soaking and starts the rust process. BTW, most people in Spain use the enamel steel
